Lorenzo Morreli

"I am scared, Lorenzo!" Fiona squealed, holding the horse tightly.

She's so adorable.

"Your Highness. . ." I heard a soft huffing sound, whispering my name.

I turned to see Armana. No, that's Mellisa. Tears were in her eyes. Her eye lash were wet, eyes swollen. Has she been crying? Why? Her breathing lowered as she settled down.

I couldn't speak after looking at her condition.

Her face clearly showed the rage she had.

Fiona was still siting on the horse while watching the scene.

I don't get it how this simple lady is making me nervous with her heavy breathing, swollen eyes and wet eye lash.

"Why. . ." She whispered then coughed, inhaled, exhaled. "I asked you for one favour."

Fiona meddled in, "Armana, are you okay...?"

"Lucas. Take Fiona away. Please?" Armana answered. "I have to talk to His Highness." She didn't look at anyone but me. Her eyes weren't in love it was mad, in rage.

I am the future king in the Empire yet, she has hold such a power that I struggled to speak. I was suppose to pluck her eyes off because she dared to look at me like that, cut her throat because she spoke rudely with Fiona. But why can't I?

Lucas did as Armana told him to do. Fiona looked at me in defence but I didn't dare to say anything. I looked Fiona and gave her a nod. After they left, only me and Armana were alone. It felt like even the horse stopped breathing.

"I am sick of dying." She said the first thing that made me clueless. "It's not fun." She whispered. "I hate it here. I hate the thought of surviving." She looked at me, soft drop of tears fell down from her eyes, "But I'm trying because I hate dying."

"Say it clearly." I said.

"You want clearness?" She asked the nodded. "You said you had a business then you left the conversation with Sol. Now you are in the horse field teaching Fiona how to protect herself from horses?" She shouted.

No one ever shouted to me. I am the goddamn Princess and a Tyrant. How dare . . . her. . .

She was crying. Something was hurting her.

"Please. Till Sol is here. Stay by my side not Fiona. After he leaves. I promise to leave you two alone." She practically begged.

I was doing my business but then Fiona came and asked me to teach her how to ride a horse so I couldn't resist. Now that I think about it. It does seem wrong. If Sol sees me with Fiona, he will get mad. Not that I'm scared of him. I've been wanting to start the war from the beginning but now, seeing her face like that. . . Something's itching inside me.

Just when I tried to approach her, a voice roared in my ear.

"What did you do to your wife for her to crying like this?"

Armana looked back and I glared at the man standing in front of me. Nikolai.

"Greetings, Your Highness and His Highness." He indicated the greeting to Armana.
