The one thing that Yaeko quickly realized was how boring her life in Tokyo was.

Either because of her husband's suspicions or because he was just eager to be back, she wasn't even given much to do besides sitting at home the whole day and awaiting his arrival.

It was ridiculous how he had bodyguards watching her even at home. Well, they supposedly weren't bodyguards but rather mere members of the Yakuza but it was hard to ignore how their eyes were constantly fixed on her every movement.

That was precisely the reason why being in contact with Yuzu was so difficult in the first weeks.

Yaeko could have sworn she couldn't lift a single finger without her husband knowing and it bothered her more than it has any right to.

Truthfully, it was more than clear how he seemed to be so busy to assert his dominance and make sure that Yae knew that his eyes were on her at all times.

She had heard the small vibrations on a few occasions but it had been impossible to even check the messages for a few days.

Yaeko knew she needed a plan to make it possible to escape the eyes that were constantly on her.

The result, you might ask?

She found a way to sneakily bring her phone to the bathroom. Sure, it wasn't exactly the most charming of plans, but it worked.

Seeing the nickname Yuzu gave himself was still as funny as when she first saw it. Truth be told, it wouldn't be Yuzuru if he hadn't managed to make a reference to his favorite plush. Unlocking the screen and seeing several messages from"Pooh" was the best thing she could have asked for.

And well, it was without surprise that she noticed him panicking slightly. The last message just read "Please tell me you're ok"

He never changed, not even after they were away from one another.

Yae knew she needed to answer him, her time was limited, so she might as well make full use of what she had.

"Hey! I'm okay... it's been hard to sneak around with the phone, I have bodyguards on me all the time but still, I think I've found a way. I hope you're ok and not overworking too much, you need to rest and stop worrying about me."

She never really expected an answer right away, but even in this, the skater surprised her when the typing icon appeared in the chat app they used. In just a few seconds, she was receiving an answer

"Nonsense, I will always worry about you, kitten..."

No one could blame her for the blush that instantly appeared on her cheeks. It wasn't even the first time that he called her that but the effect was still the exact same. Yuzu had a way to make her flush with just a few words and not even stutter. He seemed to be able to do the same with a few written words

"How have you been?"

"Been working a lot but I won't bore you with the details" he texted, fully unaware that she would love to hear all about those "Knowing that you found a way to sneak in makes some happy but also nervous at the same time. I don't want you to risk your safety."

It was true, all of it was risky, not just for her but also for him. Seemingly remembering her bodyguards now, Yaeko decided to turn on the shower in an attempt to make up some time and excuses. She wasn't one to waste water but this seemed like a worthy situation.

"Should be ok, I don't think they will be suspicious at all."

He was quiet for a while and Yae wondered what was on his mind. Texting wasn't even remotely close to having the man in front of her and it showed. Had he been there, she could have easily read his face and know, or at least part of it.

"I wish I could see you" came a few moments later, quickly answering all of the questions that Yae had been making in her head.

It was unavoidable to wish for it as well. She wished to see him, hear him, even touch him, but none of that was possible.

"I miss you. I miss your face, your voice, your touch" she answered back, unsure of what even to reply to him but the truth. None of them seemed to be afraid of showing how they were feeling now, despite hiding it for months

What he did next was something she had never once considered. Yuzuru took full advantage of the app they were using and the function to send temporary pictures to give her a glorious view of his sweaty face in a background she was sure to be the gym of his ice rink. His wet hair paired with workout clothes clinging to his chest was more than enough to get her hot and bothered.

The few seconds that she was allowed to see it weren't anywhere near close enough but they were still better than nothing. Doing it like this allowed his confidentiality even if the phone was found.

"Does this help?" he had texted together with the photo, a fact that she only noticed after seeing the pretty view.

"I don't even know if it helps or makes me wish to see you in person even more."

"Can I maybe see you too?"

She hesitated but the truth was that if anything, he was the one with more to risk. She was already in the middle of the mess, no matter what happened.

Yae figured that it was only fair to send him a picture as well and if his little peak was anything to go by, she knew he would be alone enough to deserve a good shot.

It was hard to know what took over her when she started unbuttoning her shirt and exposing her chest full of tattoos but there would be no regrets later.

Yaeko took a picture that was sexy enough to stun but without showing too much. Just a glimpse of her chest in the lacy black bra that she wore. Still, it was definitely not a picture to show anyone but your husband.

Well, no one but Yuzu, in her case.

The one unfortunate thing was that she couldn't see his reaction.
