Sometimes the biggest problems in your life end up solving themselves.

When you feel like you've been unlucky for a good portion of the years you lived, it's hard to believe in miracles but life does happen to become rewarding every once in a while.

For Yaeko and Yuzu, living their lives in Finland had become a new reality.

Haruki was registered a few days after the arrival of the skater and just like predicted Yuzuru had learned a lot in the span of just a few days.

Yaeko had felt the effects of his presence in more ways than one. She could finally get some well-deserved rest and focus on more things other than her baby.

Yuzuru was just as amazing as she had always imagined him to be. Seeing his interactions with the baby would soon become her favourite memory and it was inevitable to imagine a future of a whole lot more.

They were completely clueless about what was about to happen in Japan.

The whole operation had months of planning with a lot of powerful people involved.

There was no doubt that the PSIA didn't joke in service but a lot of people had underestimated just how far they were willing to go.

When it became very evident that the law wouldn't be able to be effective in bringing a certain gang member down, the whole thing had been placed into motion.

It required a lot of influential people signing a lot of papers but when it came to bringing down the remaining part of the Yakuza, no one seemed to hesitate.

For years on end, Japan had been trying to fight their power with laws and convictions. Realistically, it was impossible to make them disappear.

What everyone wanted was for them to stick to their small crimes and allow for a bit more peace on the streets.

When it was just drugs and some money laundering, they were pretty much harmless but when it started messing with the safety of the citizens, that was a whole different matter.

For Kiyoshi Takayama, a lot of exceptions would end up being made.

No criminal in Japan could be executed without a trial but that didn't mean that it was always how things would work.

Behind the scenes, a lot of things happened that determined how the criminal world worked.

For one, once the higher-ups decided that it was time to take someone out, they wouldn't survive much longer.

The leader of the Yamaguchi-gumi would be completely clueless of what was about to happen but a lot could argue that he deserved every second of that long minute.

In truth, the number of people who knew was small, but one was very familiar.
He would later be proud to say that he was heavily connected to the plan, helping in almost every single stage.

Agent Miura had enough of that bastard, like Yuzuru liked to call him. For months there had been plans behind the scenes to bring them down and once the time came, Miura was on the radio listening to every single part of the plan.

The news reports would call it an inner Yakuza dispute, a fight for power inside an organization that strived for it constantly but the reality was anything but that.

Kiyoshi would be found dead in his family home, shot about a dozen times without a single bit of mercy.

Other members would also be found in the same situation, bodyguards and those around one of the most powerful men in Japan. No one was immune and his death would prove exactly that.

It was the end of one of the most powerful clans of the Yakuza in Japan.

Granted that most of the members who had remained unscathed would migrate to others but it was still a very happy day for those suffering in their hands.

Once it was all confirmed and agent Miura had the all-clear from his friends in Japan, he would have to wait a few hours to bring the news to the young couple who had been mercilessly suffering under that man's hands.

It was time for them to have a normal life and it was certainly time to go back home.

The agent had seen Yaeko as a daughter for a long time.
Maybe it was related to his past.

He would never admit it to the young woman but she reminded him so much of his young girl that it was hard to ignore.

It had been 5 years since he lost them, his wife and daughter brutally assaulted and killed at the hands of that very same man he just heard being killed.

Justice had been served, even if bittersweet.

He couldn't have them back now but he could certainly help this young girl have her life, the one she deserved to have before her own father sold her to that bastard.

For someone who lost as much as he did, Miura could barely believe that a father would be willing to do that to his own blood. Maybe that's exactly why he felt the obligation to help Yaeko.

And now he would finally be able to give her the good news.

On that night, he barely slept a wink, way too excited to tell Yaeko and Yuzu that they would finally be free.

He had left his apartment and headed upstairs from the moment sunlight hit the condo.

It was impossible not to smile as he watched the young couple cuddle in the bed with the small baby nestled between them.

You were able to tell the love between them with just a glimpse of that scene.

Miura knocked on the door in an attempt to wake them up softly while Haruki remained asleep.

Once he was successful, their confused eyes settled on him.

"Is everything okay?" Yuzuru ended up asking while Yae was still awakening properly.

"I just wanted to tell you... It's time to go home."
