It was painful to look at Chay like this. All I ever wanted was his happiness, but he is miserable right now. I don't know what kind of mental stress he is going through. He was hyperventilating. It scared me.

Since Kinn came into my life, my attention is divided, but I never meant to ignore him. However, It did happen, otherwise he wouldn't have been in this condition.

I made Chay sleep in his room. While I go and solve this problem. I went back to Kinn's office where everyone was waiting silently. The first person to notice me walk in was Kinn. He came up to me.

"Is he ok?"

"Yes. He is taking a nap." I said nodding.

I looked at Macau. He was standing near Vegas and Pete. He looked worried. Maybe he is faking it. Whatever it is I need to find out if he really loves my brother or he has some other intentions.

"You.... We need to talk. Alone...." I said pointing at Macau emphasizing the last part.

"No, whatever you have to say, say it in front of everyone." Vegas said being wary.

"Hia, I can handle it. Don't worry." Macau said and walk towards me.

"Let's go." He said.

I took him to my office. I rarely use it. Since, I spend most of my time in Kinn's office. We sat across each other.

"OK. Now tell me what you exactly want?" I said getting on point.

"I want Chay." He said without missing a beat.

"I'll offer you Money, land or any kind of property you want. I'll give you whatever you desire. Just let go of Chay."

If offering anything he want makes him give up on Chay then I'll do it.

"What I desire the most is Chay. How about I offer you whatever you want, and you give me Chay. You can take it as a dowry." He said not backing down. I hate his cocky attitude. Same as the day we met. I want to punch him.

"Why are you playing with his heart?"

"I am not playing with his heart. I'll never do that." He said sitting straight from his relaxed position. He looked offended.

"I know you don't trust me and thinks that I am doing this to get something or to hurt him. I won't even dream about it. You don't know how precious he is to me." His expression and voice became soft when he talked about Chay.

"Why do you love him?" A smile spread on his face when I asked him question.

"Because he is the only innocent, caring and genuine person I ever met in my life...."

"Since I was kid, I have learned that people are greedy and cruel. They look for an opportunity to hurt you. Just like you are thinking about me.... I didn't trust people around me. I am always on alert. And you know what kind of environment we live in a mafia family. Hia is the only one who loved me and cared about me. But it wasn't enough, he had his own problems to face. I honestly gave up on love and made myself believe that love is nonsense and waste of time...."

"But when Chay came into my life, slowly everything started to change. At First, I was sceptical about him because I was not used to people being kind to me for no reason.... He was nice and patient with me. He tried to understand me. No one has ever done that for me. They always thought that I am just a spoiled brat." He said and nod at me. He knows what I think about him.

He continued.

"I once hurt him and made him cry. I hated myself for that. I was cursing myself for doing that to him. I didn't understand, why I am feeling like that. I have done much terrible things and never regretted it. But then why it's hurting me to see him cry. This kind of feeling was foreign to me. Then I realized, I like him. After that day, I promised myself to take care of him. He is a light of hope in my dark lifeless world."
