Chapter 14

Porschay

In city with illuminating bright lights from buildings and streets make it difficult for stars to be visible. However, today they were sparkling radiantly in the clear sky. The blowing cold wind was touching my skin. I wrapped my jacket around myself tightly. I filled my lungs with fresh air. The atmosphere was amazing. Looking at tall building made me feel tiny. I was on one of the tallest buildings. The sound of traffic was barely heard. I was standing alone near the railing. I was feeling at peace. Something, I was trying to gain for months. But, soon enough, my peaceful moment was interrupted. I heard voices from behind. I turned and saw black figure approaching me.

"Catch him!!!" one of them said.

I was confused.

"No." I said backing up towards railing.

"Catch him!!!"

"Leave me alone. Go away." I screamed.

My body was trembling with fear. As I stepped back further, I realized that the railing has vanished and I was standing on the edge of the building. One of the figures jumped at me. I lost balanced and fell down from the building. With a jolt I woke up from my dream. I was breathing rigidly. I rubbed my face with both hands. My shaking body was covered in sweat and mouth was dry. There was a bottle of water on my side table. I opened the cap and took big gulps as if I haven't drink water in years. I calmed down a little.

Suddenly, I heard my phone ring. It was Macau.

"Hello?"

"Oh good. You are awake. Get ready. You are going to drive me to college."

"What? Why?" I asked confused.

"Don't tell me you are backing out from you promise."

I tried to remember yesterday's event. I was disoriented from my sleep. Then I remembered. P'Tan came and Macau had to hide in balcony. And The Kiss...

"Get ready fast, otherwise we won't be able to have breakfast." He said and disconnected the call.

I pushed aside my sheets and went into washroom to get ready.

As I was tying the tie around my neck, I decided to call Macau to check, if he is ready or not.

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yes, I am. Come and escort me to my car."

"Are you crazy? Can't you do it on your own?" I said already getting frustrated.

"You are my servant. And you are supposed to assist me with everything."

"Even when you go to washroom?" I asked sarcastically.

"If you want to, I don't mind." I can imagine a smile on his smug face.

"Eww... No." I said in disgust.

He laughed.

"Fine, I am coming over." I said and hung up.

It is going to be painful day.

I look into mirror one last time adjusting my tie and went up to his room. I knocked on the door and he opened it immediately. As if he was right in front of the door waiting for me.

"You are here. Hold my bag." He said throwing it at me. I almost dropped it. He walked ahead with his hands in pocket and whistling away. I followed him like his assistant.

We got inside the lift and I pressed button for ground floor. I started to feel awkward because the kiss was replaying in my head repeatedly. He hasn't even mentioned it yet.
