Chapter 41

Porschay

After our exam started we did group studies and helped each other if there is something we didn't understand. I sometimes made coffee for everyone and we would go out for walk to get fresh air. There was huge pressure on us, but we made it through.

"Yes!!! Finally, the exams are over. Now we can party." Dew screamed raising his hands in air.

We finished over exam and walking out of the building. Everyone was stressed because of exam and now that it's finish, it feels like a heavy weight has lifted off our shoulders. Everyone worked really hard.

"Another reason for you to do party and get drunk." Mike said.

"No... It's my birthday tomorrow." Dew said excited.

"Oh, it's tomorrow? I thought it was next month." Mike said.

"No. It's tomorrow. So, let's start the party already!!!" Dew said looking thrilled.

"Yeah... about that, I am leaving today. I am going on a trip with my family." Mike said defusing his excitement.

"What!!!" Dew screamed getting upset.

"Yeah, my mom arranged the trip and I thought your birthday is next month."

"Urgh!!!"

"You guys are coming right?" Dew asked me and Macau with frown on his face.

"I have to take Chay back to Main house. His brother demanded me to bring him back. You know how protective his brother is and enjoys annoying me. I have to take him back anyhow tomorrow." Macau said wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I nod in agreement.

"Are you kidding me!!!" At this point dew was angry. I felt bad for him.

"What about you guy? Are you also busy?" Dew turned to Krit and Ford.

"uh..." Krit made guilty face.

"We can have breakfast together before we leave." I said.

"Yes, we can do that." Ford said immediately after me trying to make him feel better.

"Who celebrates birthday in the morning?... You know what? Go to hell!!! I don't need anyone." Dew said stomped away.

"Dew..."

"Dew listen..."

We went after him. We caught up to him before he could get inside his car. We convinced him to meet us in the morning. He was not happy but agreed to meet us.

This is all an act. We are just pretending. He has never had a surprise birthday party. So, we are decided to throw him one. We are making him believe that all of us are busy with something. But he doesn't know that we are arranging party for him while he go and celebrate and spend time with his family. We talked to his brother and he agreed to help us. His older brother is going to bring him to party destination. We have booked a private room in the restaurant and called few friends from college.

Next day Macau, Mike and Ford went ahead to make arrangements. They left their gifts with us. We are supposed to bring it to them later. We offered to go along with them to help but they said they can handle it themselves. But still we decided to get ready and go check out the preparation. Krit came to my room and waited as I get ready.

"Oh my god!" Suddenly Krit exclaimed startling me.

"What happened!" I asked shocked.

"I forgot Dew's gift that I bought for him at my house." Krit said with wide eyes remembering.
