The day was pretty much similar to the day before. Dan and Phil were playing on the xbox, Dan resisting to project his feelings and Phil completely unaware. Dan loved the friendship he had with Phil, but it was killing him that it couldn't be more.

Phil was sat on the couch, his feet resting on a wooden stool. He was busy watching Kill Bill 2 on the TV, as was Dan, sat on the couch too. Dan has watched the film a million times and he felt so bored, but Phil seemed so engrossed in the movie, and Dan didn't want to disturb him. But then all of sudden, the lights went out, the TV switched off and the room was absorbed in darkness.

"Oh no..." Phil sighed to himself.

"What? Are you scared of the dark?" Dan teased Phil with a strange voice, as he moved closer to Phil to tickle him.

"Dan- haha- stop- ha ha..." Phil giggled, trying to push Dan off him, but Dan ended up further on top of him. The tickling slowly stopped and Dan just lingered, hovering over him.

"Dan-.". His lips parted with Phil's, like 2 jigsaw pieces. Dan's heart felt like it was beating so fast, it was about to explode of his chest. He slowly leant away to find Phil looking so surprised and paralysed.

"I'm so sorry-." Dan got up from of Phil and ran into the bathroom. He locked the door and let his face fall into his hands. "Dan! Can we talk?" Phil shouted from the other side of the door. Dan felt the tears trickle down his face and the world collapse around him. How could someone you only knew for a small amount of time make such an impact on you? "What's the point? You're straight, I kissed you and now you hate me!" Dan just managed to choke out before he sobbed more.

"I don't hate you, I just want to sort things out. Please, just open the door." Phil said, in a calm tone. Dan eventually unlocked and opened the door, dabbing the tears under his eyes with his sleeve. Phil stood still for a few seconds, but then pulled Dan into an embrace. He rested his head on Phil's shoulder, dampening his jumper with tears whilst Phil ruffled Dan's hair.

"I'm bi." Phil said clearly.

Was Dan hearing him properly? He couldn't trust himself sometimes because he didn't know if Phil had honestly said that, or it was just want he wanted to hear.

"Wh-what?".

"I'm bi." Phil repeated. He was about to say something else, but paused.

Dan had heard him properly and this meant he maybe had a chance to with Phil. The sobbing died down and Dan tried to loosen himself out of Phil's arms, but Phil just tightened the hug.

"And... And I think I love you, Dan Howell.". Those three words made Dan melt. Those three words seemed to have saved him, emotionally. He looked up at Phil and stared into his big, beautiful, blue eyes. The same eyes that were staring right back into his own eyes. And that's when Phil returned the passionate kiss. The kiss Dan had been dying to receive. One that his heart thud louder and louder and louder. He wondered if Phil could hear his heart causing such a racket. The kiss ended slowly and softly, and Dan feared he was just going to wake up and find Phil wasn't there, but it wasn't some remarkable dream and that this was all real.

Phil told Dan he loved him. Not just Dan. Dan Howell.

The electricity still wasn't on, so the two boys couldn't watch the rest of Kill Bill 2 or play Xbox... Well, not that they would have done now. Phil held Dan's hand, then gently tugged into his room. They hadn't changed into their pjs, but they crawled into bed anyways. "Night." Phil whispered, placing a kiss on Dan's forehead, then faced the opposite way to sleep. Dan couldn't sleep. He was tired, but he finally had Phil, and he didn't want to ever let him go. He spooned against Phil with his arm snaked around his waist. After a minute of staring at Phil sleeping, Phil surprised him by turning and pecked him on the lips.

"You didn't say 'night'." Phil pouted. He made stubbornness seem so adorable.

"Because I was hoping you wouldn't go to sleep just yet." Dan giggled, caressing Phil's face. Phil happily and tiredly sighed before pulling the brunette closer to him. "I'm very tired, but I'll see you in the morning, okay?" Phil smiled. Dan placed a kiss on his cheek before closing his eye lids. "Yeah, okay, night, Phil.". And for some strange reason, Dan did drift to sleep.

The next morning, Dan woke up remembering everything the day before and beamed sleepily. Though the smile faded when he saw Phil's empty space beside him. Dan jumped out of bed and walked into the kitchen, and to Dan's relief, Phil was there; frying some streaky bacon. It smelt delicious.

"Morning.".

Phil turned around to Dan and grinned at him across the room. "'Morning, Dan.". Everything felt so relaxing and comfortable, now that Dan could just be himself. Phil was still in dressed in his clothes from yesterday. "You like bacon?".

"Yeah, who doesn't?" Dan giggled, then was interrupted by his stomach growling. Phil gestured Dan to sit at the breakfast bar, insisting he didn't need help preparing the food. Phil eventually walked over, and put down a plate that had a bacon butty.

"There's the tomato ketchup if you need any." Phil beamed as he sat next Dan, takkng a bite out of his butty. Dan reached for some ketchup and squirted on his bacon. He felt speechless and nervous and he wasn't sure if Phil truly loved him.

"Phil... Do you l-love me?" Dan hesitated. Phil stopped chewing, then slowly swizzled around in the chair to face Dan. He looked into Dan's eyes giving Dan that warm, fuzzy feeling inside. The one

"Yes, of course I love you. I wouldn't lie to you." Phil smiled softly, entwining his fingers with Dan's. A huge, relief filled smile grew on Dan's face as he leant forward and pressed his lips against Phil. The raven haired boy placed a hand on the brunettes face whilst Dan snaked his arm around Phil's waist.
