PoV: Sonic

Do I look okay? I slicked my quills back with a little more gel and fixed my shirt. I was in a white shirt and some jeans along with a red Flannel shirt with a gray hood, is this too casual? We're going to an arcade I think it'll be fine.

"Just in case," I took a temporary pheromone blocker for the day. I left after grabbing my wallet and arrived at the arcade a few minutes before 11 am. Infinite was already there, waiting for me, "Woah..."

Infinite, he looked way out of my league. He was in a nice dress shirt with a black blazer and matching pants. His white dreads freely resting on his back. He's like the kid of a rich family. I should run home for a change.

"There you are, Sonic. I had a feeling you'd show up early," Infinite had already seen me, it was too late to turn back, "You look adorable, red is a color that truly suits you."

"Y-yeah, thanks," How am I supposed to go on this date dressed Like this? "You look really handsome."

"I wanted to look nice for our date, shall we get going?" Infinite held out his hand to me. I hesitated as I placed my hand in his.

"Yeah," I didn't have much to lose and I was already here.

"Great! The arcade is over here," he led me away through the street and we entered the biggest arcade I'd ever seen. This one was on the other side of town and nothing like the small one Tails and I would occasionally visit.

Infinite was skilled with the first-person shooter games. I couldn't aim at all. However, I was much better than him at the more classic platform games and we were pretty evenly matched at fighting games. When it came to racing games, Infinite didn't even come close to winning. We spent a whole 2 hours playing together before starting to leave.

"Wait, there's one more game we haven't tried," Infinite stopped as we came to the claw games by the exit, "Is there anything you like?"

"You sure? Claw games are some of the most rigged games in any arcade," I looked around for an easy-to-win prize I like. There was a little fox with button eyes in one machine that looked like Tails.

"I'm sure. Please, pick something," he held out 5 tokens, "I still have some left."

"Alright, then how about that little sock fox? It looks just like my brother. Just needs a second tail," I pointed to the toy in the machine beside me.

"One fox coming up- A second tail?" Infinite looked confused.

"Oh that's right," I had completely forgotten Tails' twin tails, "My brother was born with two tails. It's pretty cool! When he was little her used to pretend he could use them to fly if I tossed him in the air," I pulled up a picture of us on my phone, "His name is Miles, but I call him Tails."

"He's cute, those tails are pretty cool. I bet he could figure out how to fly with them. You're cute in that picture."

"Uh... Thanks," I put my phone away and looked at the claw he had started moving into position. ...cute... Does he genuinely like me?

"Damn it," he had grabbed the fox but it slipped away at the edge of the pit.

"It landed in a good spot. Bet you could push it over," I inserted an extra coin that I had.

"Hey, I'm supposed to be paying," he started moving the crane again.

"You bought my tokens. You are paying," he had bought me 100 tokens when I was in the bathroom. I'd never had so much to spend before.
