"You're so stupid, you need to stop doodling hearts in my notes." Nico said, looking at his lunch and bringing up a forkful of food up to his mouth.
"Stop calling me stupid, it really hurts my feelings, Neeks." Will frowned. "Plus, I know you love me doodling the hearts in your notes!"
Nico rolled his eyes and he looked at Will, smiling at him.
"I'm sorry for hurting your feelings, Will." Nico said softly. "And I love your doodles when they aren't all over my notes."
"There's a lot of talk of love over here." Alex said as he sat down across from Will.
"Yeah, kinda suspicious coming from you two." Magnus said, sitting down next to Alex and across from Nico.
"What's happening with the two of you?" Alex asked.
Will and Nico glanced at each other before looking at Alex and Magnus.
"Well, Nico and I talked things over on Friday, and we are going to be taking things slow, go on a few dates and get to know each other more before becoming official." Will explained, smiling at Alex and Magnus.
"Woah! Seriously?!" Alex gasped. "Awh, that's so cute, I'm so happy for you guys!"
"Uhm, we're very happy for you guys." Magnus corrected, smiling at Will and Nico. "Seriously, that's great for you two."
"Oh my god!!"
The four of them looked over, seeing that Leo was rushing over, dragging Jason behind him, towards the four of them.
"Will, Nico! You guys are actually so awesome!"
Will and Nico blinked at Leo as Leo sat down next to Alex. Jason sat down next to Will.
"Uhm, what?" Nico looked at Leo, raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah, uhm, what are you on about?" Will asked, looking at Leo cluelessly.
"Have you guys not seen Octavian?" Leo gasped. "He has two black eyes! From you guys! It's so fucking hilarious!"
Nico blinked and he looked at Will.
"Huh, guess we got him pretty good." Nico smiled at Will.
"And it was totally deserved." Will said, huffing slightly. "I would've done more, maybe broke some bones if it wouldn't have gotten me expelled."
Nico stared at Will, looking at him in awe.
"... Yeah, you're definitely my soulmate." Nico whispered.
Will blushed and he smiled at Nico.
"Dork." Will said softly, leaning in and kissing Nico's head.
Nico smiled as he rested his head on Will's shoulder.
"You guys seriously haven't seen? Or heard about it?" Jason questioned. "Everyone is talking about it."
"Guess we've just been focused on other stuff." Will shrugged slightly, looking at Jason.
"Yeah, I haven't heard anything about it." Alex said. "And I hear every little bit of gossip."
"Well, it's entertaining hearing everyone talking about it." Jason said. "Even though fighting is totally wrong, and we should try to be civil and-"
"Dios mío, Jase!" Leo groaned. "You're so boring! Plus, Octavian totally deserved to be punched! I'm just jealous I wasn't able to hit him myself."
"Ugh, I know! I would've totally punched that hijo de su puta madre!" Alex exclaimed.
Leo gasped as he looked at Alex.
"You know Spanish? Oh, okay, we're instantly becoming besties." Leo said.
Alex smiled at Leo. "Awh, okay! Well, since we're now besties, I think we should discuss-"
"Alex, cool it, love." Magnus said, looking at Alex, instantly know what he was going to say to Leo.
Alex frowned at Magnus.
"You're no fun." Alex said, looking up at Magnus.
"Let's get back to talking about that coño!" Leo exclaimed, smiling at Alex.
"Oh, let's." Alex nodded.
Leo and Alex began to speak in Spanish to one another. Magnus sighed but he kept looking at Alex, adoring how his accent was coming out as he spoke Spanish. Jason also seemed to start looking at Leo in awe.
Nico kept hearing Alex and Leo saying some insulting words, a couple of things like 'burro', 'pendejo', and a mix of other Spanish words and insults.
"... Do you know anything they're saying?" Will asked, looking at Nico.
"I had to learn a bit of Spanish in my last school and a lot of kids taught everyone some bad words, so... Yeah, they're just shit talking Octavian." Nico said, looking at Will.
"...Understandable." Will nodded.
"Yeah." Nico nodded back.
"Anyway, those blondes are preoccupied with falling in love with their Spanish boys, so, we can just talk about anything really, even leave-"
"... You wanna find Octavian and see if he does have two black eyes, right?"
"You read my mind, Solace."
"Fine, but we're not gonna get super close to him!"
"You're amazing! C'mon!"
