The next few weeks had been a whirlwind for the band. With the addition of Kendall and Logan's new relationship dynamic, things had shifted slightly, but the group had settled into a comfortable rhythm. Their time together was filled with a mix of rehearsals, jokes, and the occasional reminder that they were now dealing with a couple in their midst.

It was a typical afternoon at the studio, and the four of them were deep into their rehearsal, running through new song ideas and perfecting their live performance routines. Kendall and Logan, as usual, were on the same wavelength, effortlessly syncing their energies. But today, the playful banter and teasing between Carlos and James added a new layer of fun to the mix.

"Alright, alright," Carlos said, waving his hand in mock frustration as he adjusted his guitar strap. "We get it. You two are practically glued at the hip. Can't we just focus on making this track awesome?"

James, grinning mischievously, added, "Yeah, or at least give us a break from the lovey-dovey looks. We're trying to get this right, and it's hard with you two making googly eyes at each other."

Logan shot back with a chuckle. "Hey, we're just in sync. Isn't that what you want from us?"

Kendall laughed, nudging Logan playfully. "Yeah, we're just setting a high bar for the rest of you."

Carlos rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress his smile. "Well, I suppose if we ever need to sing about romantic gestures or deep, meaningful glances, we'll know who to call."

"And if we ever need to find out what it's like to be in a new relationship," James quipped, "we'll just ask Kendall and Logan for tips, as they think we might have forgotten."

Kendall shook his head, a grin on his face. "Alright, you two. Enough with the teasing. Let's get this song down before you start giving us more of your couple-related problems."

As the rehearsal continued, the camaraderie among the group was evident. Kendall and Logan worked seamlessly together, their mutual support and encouragement adding a special energy to their performance. James and Carlos, though still adjusting to the new dynamics, showed nothing but support and good-natured teasing.

By the end of the session, they were all in high spirits, having made significant progress on their music. The conversation turned to their plans for the day off that was coming up.

Carlos and James were excitedly discussing their plans. "I'm thinking of hitting up that new restaurant downtown," Carlos said. "Heard they have the best tacos in the city."

"Nice," James replied. "I was thinking of taking a day trip out to the coast. Get some fresh air, maybe do some hiking."

Logan and Kendall exchanged glances, unsure of what to do with their free day. "We don't have any solid plans yet," Logan admitted. "Any suggestions?"

"Why not just see where the day takes you?" James suggested. "Sometimes the best days are the ones you don't overthink."

Carlos chimed in, "Yeah, and just enjoy each other's company."

"Sounds like a good idea," Kendall agreed. "We'll see."

As they wrapped up their rehearsal and began to pack up their gear, Carlos and James shared their final goodbyes. The light-hearted teasing continued as they joked about how Kendall and Logan should be careful not to turn their day off into a soap opera.

"We'll try not to," Kendall said with a wink.

"Yeah, and if you do, make sure to keep it entertaining," James added with a chuckle.

With their friends heading off to their respective plans, Kendall and Logan found themselves alone, ready to spend the day together. They packed up their things and headed out of the studio, the promise of a free day stretching out before them.

As they walked to Logan's car, Kendall glanced over at Logan. "So, any ideas on what we should do?"

Logan shrugged with a smile. "I'm up for anything. Let's just enjoy the day and see where it takes us."

Kendall nodded in agreement. "Sounds perfect."
