he day had been perfect-one of those effortlessly beautiful days where everything seemed to align just right. Kendall and Logan had spent it doing nothing out of the ordinary, but that was what made it so special. It was just the two of them, enjoying each other's company without any distractions or pressures. They had breakfast at their favorite café, strolled through their neighborhood park, and spent the afternoon at home, lounging around and chatting about anything and everything.

Logan had been trying to keep his nerves in check all day. He wanted everything to feel natural, like any other day they spent together, but the significance of what he was about to do kept bubbling up inside him. Every time he looked at Kendall, a wave of anticipation and love washed over him, and he found himself getting lost in thoughts of their future.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow over the city, Logan suggested they take a drive up to their favorite lookout spot-a quiet place in the hills where they could see the entire city spread out below them. It was a place they had been to many times before, a spot that held a lot of meaning for them. Kendall didn't think much of it, agreeing without hesitation. He loved that spot; it was where they had shared some of their most meaningful conversations, and it always felt like a little escape from the world.

As they drove up the winding road, Logan's heart raced a little faster with each passing minute. He kept his eyes on the road, focusing on driving, but his mind was spinning with anticipation. He glanced over at Kendall occasionally, watching him admire the view as the car climbed higher and higher. Everything had to be perfect.

When they finally reached the lookout, Logan parked the car and took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. Kendall hopped out, stretching his arms as he took in the breathtaking view. "Man, it's beautiful up here," Kendall said, his voice full of contentment. "We should come here more often."

Logan smiled, feeling a rush of affection for Kendall. "Yeah, we should," he agreed, stepping out of the car and walking over to where Kendall was standing. He had planned every detail of this evening-how he would bring Kendall here, how he would lead into the proposal, and the words he would say. He wanted it to be a reflection of who Kendall was-thoughtful, sincere, and deeply meaningful.

They stood side by side, gazing out at the city below. The lights were just starting to twinkle in the dusk, and the sky was painted with hues of orange and pink. Logan slipped his hand into Kendall's, squeezing it gently. Kendall looked over at him, smiling softly. "You're quiet tonight," Kendall remarked. "What's on your mind?"

Logan chuckled nervously. "Just...how lucky I am," he said, his voice a little shaky. "To have you. To be here with you."

Kendall's smile widened, and he leaned in to kiss Logan on the cheek. "I feel the same way," he murmured. "I'm the lucky one."

Logan's heart pounded in his chest. This was it. This was the moment. He turned to face Kendall fully, taking both of his hands in his. Kendall looked at him curiously, sensing a shift in Logan's demeanor.

"Kendall," Logan began, his voice trembling slightly. "I've been thinking about this for a while now, and...well, I guess there's no perfect way to say it, but...you mean everything to me. I've never been as sure about anything in my life as I am about us."

Kendall's eyes widened, and he opened his mouth to say something, but Logan continued before he could.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Logan said, his voice growing stronger with conviction. "I want to wake up next to you every morning, go through all the ups and downs together, and grow old with you. You're my best friend, my partner, and...I love you more than anything."

Kendall's breath caught in his throat, and his eyes started to glisten with tears. This wasn't something he had ever expected-not really. Sure, he'd thought about marriage, but after his last relationship ended, he'd resigned himself to the idea that it might not be in the cards for him. And even if it was, he always imagined he'd be the one doing the proposing. But now, standing here, hearing Logan's words, all those old doubts and assumptions melted away.

Logan let go of one of Kendall's hands and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small, velvet box. Kendall's eyes followed the motion, his heart pounding as realization dawned on him.

Logan dropped to one knee, opening the box to reveal a simple but elegant ring-a perfect reflection of Kendall's style and personality. "Kendall Schmidt," Logan said, his voice steady despite the emotion in his eyes, "will you marry me?"

For a moment, Kendall was completely speechless. He stared at Logan, at the ring, and then back at Logan, his heart swelling with so many emotions he could hardly process them all. It felt almost surreal, but in the best possible way.

"Yes," Kendall finally breathed out, a tear slipping down his cheek. "Yes, of course, I will!"

Logan's face broke into the biggest smile Kendall had ever seen, and he quickly stood up, slipping the ring onto Kendall's finger. As soon as the ring was in place, Kendall threw his arms around Logan, pulling him into a tight embrace. They held each other for a long moment, both of them overwhelmed by the enormity of what had just happened.

When they finally pulled back, Kendall cupped Logan's face in his hands, pressing his forehead against Logan's. "I love you," Kendall whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I love you so much."

"I love you too," Logan whispered back, his own eyes wet with tears. "More than anything."

They kissed then, a kiss filled with all the love, joy, and promise of their future together. The city lights twinkled below them, but in that moment, all that existed was the two of them and the love they shared.

When they finally pulled away, both of them were grinning like idiots, their faces flushed with happiness. Logan looked down at the ring on Kendall's finger, and his heart swelled with pride and love. "It looks perfect on you," he said softly.

Kendall smiled, admiring the ring for a moment before looking back at Logan. "It's perfect because you gave it to me," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.

They stayed there for a while longer, basking in the glow of their engagement, talking about the future, and all the plans they would make together. As they eventually made their way back to the car, hand in hand, both of them knew that this was just the beginning of the next chapter of their lives-a chapter that they were both more than ready to write together.
