Kendall had always been close to Logan. They'd known each other for years, evenbefore the band had formed, and their friendship had been the kind that felt easy and natural. There was never a moment of awkwardness between them, no subject too embarrassing to talk about. It was a friendship that felt like it had been there forever, like it was meant to be.

But lately, something had shifted. Kendall couldn't quite put his finger on when it had started, but he noticed the way his heart seemed to beat a little faster when Logan smiled at him. He found himself seeking Logan out in crowded rooms, his eyes always drawn to him, his presence oddly comforting but also, now, slightly unsettling. It was a new feeling—one that made him question things he'd never questioned before.

One night after rehearsal, the guys had all gone out for dinner. It was a typical night—laughter, teasing, and shared stories about their lives on and off the stage. Kendall sat next to Logan, as usual. As they talked, Kendall noticed how Logan's eyes crinkled when he laughed, how his laugh was contagious, drawing Kendall in until he was laughing too. It had always been like this but now it felt different

As the evening wore on, Kendall found himself less engaged in the conversation around him and more focused on Logan. The way he spoke with passion about something as simple as a new guitar riff they were working on, the way he absentmindedly pushed his hair out of his face, the way his knee brushed against Kendall's under the table—it was all suddenly captivating in a way that made Kendall's mind race.

He tried to shake it off, chalking it up to the stress of creating a new tour after 9 year long hiatus and being in close quarters all the time. But as the days went on, the feelings only grew stronger. Kendall started to notice the small things about Logan that made him feel...different. The way Logan would check in on him after a tough day, the way he always seemed to know when Kendall needed someone to talk to, or when he just needed silence.

One late night, when everyone else had gone to bed, Kendall found himself sitting on the balcony of their hotel room, Logan beside him. The city lights stretched out before them, but Kendall's thoughts were miles away. They didn't talk much that night, just sat in comfortable silence. But when Logan turned to him, his face soft in the dim light, and asked if he was okay, Kendall felt something shift deep inside him. The concern in Logan's voice, the warmth in his eyes—it was like a puzzle piece clicking into place. A puzzle some of their fans back in the day had already seen fitting in to place. But to him back than that piece didn't seem to match.

It hit Kendall then, like a wave crashing over him. He liked Logan. More than liked him, really. The realization left him breathless, and he found himself scrambling to understand what it all meant. This was Logan, his best friend, his bandmate—how could he feel this way? But the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. All those little moments, all those shared laughs, and silent conversations had been leading up to this.

Kendall wasn't sure what to do with these feelings. They were terrifying and exhilarating all at once. He didn't want to risk their friendship, didn't want to ruin what they had. But he couldn't deny what was there any longer. He couldn't stop thinking about Logan, couldn't stop the surge of emotions every time they were together.

As he lay awake that night, staring at the ceiling, Kendall knew things would never be the same. He was falling for Logan, and there was no going back.
