The last few months had been a whirlwind. After the boys wrapped up their Asian tour, they had spent some well-deserved downtime, reflecting on how far they had come both as a band and as individuals. The tour had been a massive success, with sold-out shows, enthusiastic fans, and memories that would last a lifetime. But as December approached, a new chapter was about to begin-one that was both exciting and a little daunting.
Logan and Kendall had been inseparable since the tour ended, spending almost every night together at one of their homes. Whether it was Logan's sleek, modern house or Kendall's cozy, more rustic place, it didn't matter much-they just wanted to be together. But after weeks of shuffling between their two houses, they had started to talk about the possibility of moving in together officially.
"It just makes sense," Logan had said one evening, as they sat on Kendall's couch, wrapped up in each other's arms. "We're together all the time anyway. Why not make it official?"
Kendall had smiled, his heart swelling at the thought. "Yeah, it does. But are you sure? I don't want you to feel like you're giving up your space."
Logan had chuckled, pressing a kiss to Kendall's temple. "I'd give up my space for you any day, babe. Besides, it's not like we're strangers. We know each other's quirks, and we've made it work this long. I think we're ready."
Kendall had nodded, feeling a rush of warmth and certainty. "Okay. Let's do it."
And so, the decision was made. They would officially move in together, merging their lives in a way that felt both inevitable and deeply meaningful. It was more a formality than anything-after all, they were practically living together already-but the act of making it official held a special significance. It was a commitment, a promise that they were in this for the long haul.
In the weeks that followed, they began the process of consolidating their lives. They spent weekends packing up boxes, deciding what to keep, what to donate, and what to bring into their shared space. Kendall's cozy, artistic style blended surprisingly well with Logan's modern, minimalist aesthetic, and the result was a home that felt like a perfect reflection of both of them.
One chilly December morning, as they finished unpacking the last of the boxes in their new shared home, Kendall took a step back and surveyed the space. The living room was filled with a mix of their favorite things-Kendall's guitar propped up against the wall, Logan's books lining the shelves, and photos of the two of them scattered throughout the room. It was perfect.
"Feels real now, doesn't it?" Kendall said, turning to Logan with a soft smile.
Logan nodded, sliding an arm around Kendall's waist. "Yeah, it does. This is our place now-our home."
Kendall leaned into him, resting his head on Logan's shoulder. "I like the sound of that. Our home."
They stood there for a moment, taking it all in-the warmth of the space, the quiet peace that settled over them, the knowledge that this was just the beginning of something beautiful.
"So," Logan said after a while, his voice teasing, "what's the first thing we're going to do as official roommates?"
Kendall grinned, looking up at him with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I was thinking we could order takeout, binge-watch something on Netflix, and just enjoy being together. What do you think?"
Logan laughed, his heart feeling light and full. "That sounds perfect."
And so, that's exactly what they did. They ordered their favorite Chinese takeout, curled up on the couch with a blanket, and spent the evening watching movies and talking about everything and nothing. It was simple, but it was theirs-a night that marked the start of this new chapter in their lives.
As the night drew to a close and they finally headed to bed, Kendall paused in the doorway of their bedroom, glancing back at Logan with a soft, contented smile.
"Goodnight, Logan," he said, his voice filled with warmth.
Logan stepped up beside him, taking his hand and squeezing it gently. "Goodnight, Kendall."
They climbed into bed together, the weight of the day slipping away as they settled into the comfortable familiarity of each other's presence. It was a small step in the grand scheme of things, but to them, it felt monumental-a promise of all the good things yet to come.
And as they drifted off to sleep, their hands intertwined under the covers, they knew that they had found something truly special. Something worth holding onto.
