The evening had unfolded in a heartwarming blend of nostalgia and laughter. Kendall's family had prepared a delightful dinner to celebrate Logan's surprise visit, and the atmosphere was filled with the cozy familiarity of home.

As they gathered around the dining table, the conversation naturally drifted to the early days of their careers. Kendall's mom, with a twinkle in her eye, began reminiscing about the casting process for the Nickelodeon TV show that had launched their careers.

"Do you remember how long the casting took?" she asked, a nostalgic smile on her face. "It felt like forever, didn't it?"

Kendall chuckled, nodding. "Oh, absolutely. I remember auditioning multiple times, and they kept making us wait."

Logan, who was seated next to Kendall, added with a laugh, "And by the time Kendall came into the mix, I was already cast. It was a bit of a whirlwind, wasn't it?"

Kendall's dad joined in with a grin. "I remember meeting Kendall at that party a few weeks before his final audition. The chemistry between you two was undeniable. It was clear from the start that you were meant to be in the band together."

Kendall leaned back, remembering the past fondly. "Yeah, I had just moved to LA and was trying to find my footing. Meeting Logan was like a breath of fresh air. It definitely made the audition process a lot less stressful."

Logan's eyes sparkled with affection as he looked at Kendall. "We hit it off right away, and the rest, as they say, is history. It's hard to believe that was over a decade ago."

The conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with stories of auditions, the early days of the show, and the bond that had formed between the band members. As the evening progressed, Kendall and Logan found themselves reminiscing about the journey they had shared, their faces glowing with the warmth of their shared memories.

After dinner, as the guests began to wind down, Kendall offered to help Logan with his luggage. Logan, with a playful grin, made a lighthearted joke. "Are you sure you don't mind? I've got to say, you're quite the gentleman."

Kendall laughed, shaking his head. "Of course, I don't mind. Let me just get this upstairs for you."

As they moved to the hallway, Kendall picked up Logan's suitcase, and Logan followed closely behind. They stopped for a moment in the quiet corridor, sharing a tender kiss. It was a sweet, chaste gesture, a silent reaffirmation of their affection.

Just as they were about to head up the stairs, Kendall's mom appeared at the end of the hallway. She poked her head around the corner with a mischievous smile. "I see that some things never change, even after all these years. Remember, boys, even though you're almost thirty-five, we still have to keep our hands above the blanket!"

Kendall groaned in mock exasperation, his face turning slightly red. "Mom, seriously?"

Logan, blushing vividly, gave a sheepish smile. "We'll keep that in mind, Mrs. Schmidt. Thanks for the reminder."

Kendall's mom chuckled, her eyes full of affection for her son and his partner. "Just making sure. Now, get going, and don't keep us waiting."

With that, Kendall carried Logan's luggage upstairs, their laughter echoing down the hall. As they reached the top of the stairs, Logan gave Kendall a grateful smile. "Thanks for doing this. It means a lot."

Kendall returned the smile, squeezing Logan's hand. "Anything for you."

The evening ended on a high note, with Kendall and Logan settling into their temporary room for the night. The sweet moments of the day, combined with the warmth of family and the shared history, made for a memorable and heartfelt return home. As they prepared for bed, they couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support that surrounded them, both from their families and from each other.
