"Gosh that went on for so long!" Violetta voiced out, yawning as she and Aeliana finally left the auditorium after hours of sitting.

Aeliana nodded, groaning as she stretched her arms, "Who knew the principal would talk for almost two hours? And that was the opening!"

"Glad that's done, let's head to the centre where the school boards are."

Aeliana hummed, taking out the itinerary paper they were given at the auditorium, "Right, that's where they put the announcements."

Violetta pointed at the boards as they walked closer, "Looks like our classes are written there. Come on, we should see if we are in the same class."

Weaving through the crowd of students, Violetta pushed her glasses up and squinted her eyes. After a few minutes, Aeliana heard her gasp and whipped her head towards her. Her eyes glimmered brightly as she exclaimed,

"Eli we're in the same class!!"

Aeliana smiled and took Violetta's hands, jumping around in celebration. The two of them giggled and excitedly made their way to the classroom they were assigned in.

"Our homeroom teacher seems really nice." Violetta commented as they headed to the main cafeteria building.

The main cafeteria was in the centre, surrounded by the other classroom buildings. As the two girls made their way to the cafeteria, they heard a high-pitched voice.

"Aeliana! Violet!"

Aeliana noticed a girl waving over at them from another building. Squinting her eyes a bit more, she realised who it was. A smile formed as she waved,

"Daphne!"

Daphne approached them and smiled brightly, "You two are finally in the academy!"

Violetta giggled and nodded, "It's so good to see you again, Daphne!"

"Yes, it's been a long time since I got to see you both. I have been really lonely."

Aeliana tilted her head to the side and questioned, "What about your friends?"

Daphne shot her a blank look as she replied, "I have no friends."

"Oh."

"Everyone is only cozying up with me because I'm the princess, they aren't sincere." she exasperatedly sighed, and on cue, a crowd of female students began crowding around them.

"Your Highness! Would you like to sit with us today?"

"Princess! You look so beautiful today like always! Please sit with me!"

"Your Highness—"

Daphne grabbed Aeliana's and Violetta's hand, loudly claiming, "I will sit with them. Enjoy your lunch. Goodbye."

Without allowing the crowd of students to speak, she turned her heel and walked away into the cafeteria with the two of them, who had a bewildered look plastered on their faces.

Violetta glanced at Aeliana and muttered, "We won't get bombarded by them later on, will we..?"

Aeliana gulped and responded, "...I hope not.."

"If anyone tries to say or do something, tell me. I will fight them!" Daphne said confidently but Aeliana shot it down.

"I don't know about that."

"Hey! Oof—"

Daphne let out a soft grunt as she crashed into someone's shoulder as she wasn't looking ahead. The three girls stumbled slightly before hearing a rude voice.
