Mia POV

"What do you want?" I slurred to Cj as I folded my arms in annoyance

"Fuck is you up here shaking yo ass for?" He gritted forming a tighter grip on my arm.

I yanked my arm out of his grip. "Because I want to." I said simply. I turned back around to go back toward the section and Cj pulled me back toward him by my waist.

I felt the familiar tingling feeling in my lower stomach again.

"Mia stop playing with me for real. And why you ain't been returning my texts or calls?" he questioned furrowing his eyebrows.

I started to feel kinda bad. He look genuinely confused and hurt.

I folded my arms and looked over toward the empty couches. He looked over toward them too.

"Come here" he said grabbing my hand and guiding me toward the couches. We sat down facing one another.

"Why yeen been hitting me?" He asked still holding my hand.

I guess the liquor started to get to me because I started softly crying.

"Becausee.." I sniffed. "You were being really rude to me when we were at the spot. I don't like the way you were talking to me. So I just stopped talking to you cause you hurt my feelings." I said sniffing again

He wiped the few tears that were coming down my face.

"Mia stop cryin , why you ain't just tell me that?" He asked

I shrugged. "I don't know. Just thought you wouldn't care or you'd think I was too sensitive or something"

"Ma if it's sum I do or say that youn like you can just tell me. I know my temper get bad some times but it's something I been working on real shit. I been talking to the lady bout that shit. I want you.. ion want you ghosting me and shit. Shit had me fucked up a lil bit." Cj said leaning back licking his lips and looking at the ceiling

My tears dried up hearing him out. I just wanted to hear that from him. I did miss being around him.

"I'm sorry. I kinda missed talking to you." I said twisting my lips and looking away

He smirked and kissed my cheek.

"You still my girlfriend?" He asked

I rolled my eyes "No Cj I'm not your girlfriend and never was. You never even asked. You can't just assume." I retorted

He chuckled "Ight. What you doing tonight though?" He asked

I shrugged "Going home." I said.

"Come stay wit me tonight." He suggested

"No I-" I started

"Please?" he said placing his hand on my thigh

There goes that tingle again.

"Ion wanna sleep alone tonight." He continued

"Ok but Saha-" I started

"She already got her and Nico a hotel for tonight. She ain tell you?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
