Nightmares

Aaradhna's pov

When I found out I was pregnant, our baby was just of 3 weeks. Today we went for my checkup again and we had tears in our eyes as we came back home .

*FLASHBACK*

"Biwi , jaldi kro yrr ." He spoke for the nth time for the last half an hour .

"Hn bss bss ho gya ansh ." I said hurriedly making my hairs .

"Hello doctor." We wished Dr Renuka as we entered her cabin.

"Don't be formal aaradhna. So Mr and Mrs Khanna let's look through your reports ." She said.

She read the details with a smile on her face them she spoke again,

" So , mumma and baby both are healthy Dr Abhiyansh. But papa has to take care of baby and baby's mumma properly."

She continued speaking," Aaradhna would have morning sicknesses , nausea , different food cravings , headaches and many such problems. So take a good care of her diet and try that she eat as much as healthy food she can have."

Ansh nodded listening very attentively to her words as if mentally noting each and every word she spoke .

"And yes , I would a proper lockdown to her heavy workload , as the baby is in the initial growing period and I don't want any mishappening to the baby or mumma so it would be better to be in rest for these 28 weeks , jismein se aapke 6 weeks have already passed now . " She instructed.

"Aaradhna , Dr Abhiyansh you see that small dot . That's your baby . Okay now let's listen to your little baby's heartbeat." She said .

I was tightly holding ansh's hand . As soon as we heard the heartbeat out head snapped in Renuka's direction confirming that what we her is what we think.

She nodded her and tears slipped down my eyes . His eyes were moist too.

"Guys spend some time here , I am moving out and once again congratulations." Renuka said moving out with a smile on her face .

As soon as she left I was captured in a strong and tight hug . I too hugged him back . I broke the hug as I felt a little wet near my crook of the neck .

I cupped his face ," Ansh, hey hey baby don't cry please." My eyes moist too.

He didn't reply but nodding wiped off his tears .

"Ansh ?"

"Hnn?"

"Are you not happy ?" I asked slightly trembling with the idea .

His eyes softened even more than before and he cupped my face .

"Angel I am more than happy meri jaan , those were happy tears of thinking about our little princess." He clarified wiping off my tears which slipped out of my eyes thinking he doesn't want a baby rightnow.

I know he was happy but bad thoughts don't knock the door before entering the room .

Abhiyansh's pov

I was so happy that tears slipped down my eyes freely . I was grateful to my kanaha ji to bless me with happy moment to live my life as a father .

It was so overwhelming hearing to my princess's heartbeat.

You might be thinking why not addressing my baby as the prince but I am so sure that it's my princess whereas is sure about her prince.

Let's see who blesses our home . A little Radha Rani or a cute naughty kanaha jii . I am desperately waiting for our little one to arrive, I am gonna spoil our baby the fullest.

"Bhai yrr jaldi kro , mujhe bhi Sunni hai mere little baby ki heartbeat." Aaru spoke for the fifth time in just 2 mins .

Aaru is whining as biwi told her that she recorded the baby's heartbeat in my phone . But here I am reading a patient's file as asked by one of my colleague for some discussion.

"Hmm , just a sec . " I said putting my phone on high volume giving it to her opening the video.

As I heard those sounds again , I was feeling so overwhelmed again . I was feeling out of the world.

"Awww , it feels so good listening to my little baby's heartbeat." Aaru said with a large smile .

Yash , Sid , Ved and Siya also had an unwavering smile on their face .

"No ansh , no more . Mujhe nhi khana ab ." She whined again with eyes moistened.

So here I am feeding her food forcefully and she's not ready to eat more and till now she just had one chapati.

"Kyaa khana hai meri behen ko , mujhe bata . Is gadhe ko krne de bakwaas ." Ved said glaring at me while his eyes softened as he looked at her .

She leaned on his shoulder as he was just sitting next to her on the dinning table.

He slowly caressed her hairs and again asked her whispering .

She said something in his ear and he passed it to siya who stood up from her chair and went towards the kitchen .

Here my biwi was grinning and whisper talking to my brother who was glaring at me time to time.

I moved to the kitchen to see what demands my wife has kept .

Siya was cutting some vegetables.

I walked to her "siya , kya demand ki ab meri gussail biwi ne ?" I asked her chuckling.

She took giggled and said, " nothing bhai , she promised ved that she'll have one more chapati and then I'll give her Maggie."

Ohh so , so much drama was for Maggie.

Wow!

As I helped her cut the veggies and asked her to go and sit with them as I was serving the Maggie in four in plates. Actually there are four kids in our house except our baby whose still enjoying in her mumma's tummy.

I went their with two plates at a time, here ved was feeding her and she was happily eating without any tantrums.

I kept one plate in front of my biwi and one in front of Siya .

And then in front of Yash and Aaru.

"No no no , please don't hurt me . Please please don't."

"I beg you please don't."

"Please."

"No"

I heard her mummer in her sleep trembling in fear while here body soaked with sweat.

I hugged her more tightly .

Wiping off her sweat , I kissed her forehead.

"Shh biwi , I am here ."

"No one can hurt you jaan till your ansh is alive."

"I am here jaan ."

"I am here bache . Bss ho gya ab mat roa naa ."

"Mai hoon na jaan ."

Soon she again slept with any whimpering. I held her tightly in my arms not letting her feel a bit of fear of being alone or helpless.

I am so happy to complete this book, but I am sad even for ending this book .
