"I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL HIM!" Warren bellowed in fury.

Warren clenched his teeth so tightly he thought they might shatter into a million pieces. He was that livid when David told him everything.

When David started telling him about what Paul did to him, Warren could barely control the anger settling in his chest. However, the moment David mentioned that he's not the only victim and that there are other students who also got molested and raped—Warren finally snapped.

Warren wanted to hurt Paul Garilla. He wanted him to suffer. He wanted him to cry the same amount of tears that David and the other students have shed. He wanted this bastard to be buried six feet underground or be locked away in some underground prison cell where no one can find him—not even the sun's light will be able to reach him—until death decided to come for this bastard.

"Calm down, Warren," David mumbled in a gentle voice.

David reached for Warren's clenched fist across the table and laid his own on top of Warren's. His thumb started stroking and circling around the said skin.

"Remember. Control." Nagtagpo ang mata nilang dalawa at agad sinalubong si David ng isang nagbabagang tingin. "Breathe, my lord. Don't let your emotions control you. It's you who should be the one doing that."

Warren was breathing heavily, his chest in constant rise and fall, but his attention was still on David.

Somehow, David's gaze was piercing right through Warren's mind—giving him that silent instruction to focus on him—while his voice acts as a rope that keeps Warren grounded.

"That's it, my lord. You're doing such a great job. Focus on me, okay? Listen to my voice."

David's praises continued to ground Warren. His breathing was starting to even out, and his taut muscles were beginning to lose their stiffness.

Then, after a full minute of just David placating and calming Warren down, his boss started to become aware of himself again, and he was no longer shaking in anger.

Well, sort of.

"Okay ka na?" David backed away and reclined himself on the backrest of his chair.

They're currently in the kitchen and sitting across from each other at the dining table.

"More or less. Though, I'm still fucking pissed about that motherfucker," Warren huffed, his hand forming into a fist again.

Pinagkrus ni David ang kanyang braso at nanatili ang tingin kay Warren.

"Mukhang naagaw ni anger ang controller ah. Pumindot siya kanina eh."

Confusion contorts Warren's expression, and David chews his lower lip to smother his own laughter.

"Baby, what the hell are you saying?"

Umiling nalang si David at sa isipan niya nalang tumawa. "Wala, wala. Kalimutan mo na yun."

Di 'nga pala kami magkaparehas ng humor nito. Aircon siya, kanal ako hahaha. David thought.

"Okay, then let's go back to our prior topic." Warren cleared his throat and sat in an upright position. "You told me this bastard got out of prison because of a parole, so it means that the Board of Pardons and Parole sees him as a citizen that will abide by the law and does not pose a threat to the welfare of society once released."

Humalukipkip si Warren kay David at binigyan ito ng isang nagtatanong na tingin.

"If you want to find evidence that will incriminate him and prove that he, in fact, did not change at all—how are you going to do that? How are you going to nullify his parole?"
