Vilgax: Yes it wasn't much trouble to retrieve the core.
Vilgax hands an omnitrix core to the cerebrocrustacean who grabs it and inserts it into a device causing it to glow.
Dr psychobos: excellent the device is complete.
Vilgax: Good.
Vilgax looks at the replica of the omnitrix and internally smiles he was finally going to obtain what he had desired after all this time. Vilgax slips the device onto his wrist but when he activated it a surge of energy ran through his body causing him immense pain.
Vilgax: Ahhh!!
He falls to the ground and psychobos quickly removed the device from his wrist. Vilgax quickly got up and grabs psychobos pinning him to the wall.
Vilgax: What is the meaning of this?!
Dr psychobos: It seems that since the device is based off Y/n l/n's ultimatrix the device will not work without his DNA.
Vilgax released psychobos from his grip growls.
Vilgax: Then I will retrieve the DNA needed.
Vilgax left the lab and psychobos quickly removed the Omnitrix core and replaced it with a different core.
