Vikram's POV:
I was getting ready for dinner, at Aadhya's place. I was tensed, very very tense. I could see how fragile my little sister had become. In just two months, she lost weight and had tried to cover up her under bags with tons of makeup. If this was her situation in two months, how will she live her entire life without Adhiraj. And Adhiraj, he was in no better shape than her. Aadhya had her family around her. We were there to be by her side but that dumb fellow was living all alone. On top of that, he refused to meet us in these last two months. Did he really think that we won't respect his privacy and not hover on him? We just wanted to get him out of that holed up half furnished house of his. Was that too much to ask.
"The frown might stay permanently on your face if you don't relax a bit." Tina said from behind me, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
"These two are gonna make my hair grow grey before time." I muttered.
"Is Adhiraj not coming? Even today?" Tina asked.
"I don't know. I thought he would come if Aadhya invited him. But when I asked her she said she doesn't know if he will show up tonight." I said with a defeated sigh.
"If this goes on like this, I will have to go to his house and pull his ears." I said.
"Then do it. You respected their space. And I understood that it was important then but now things are getting out of hand. You must talk to both of them." Tina suggested.
Just then the intercom of my house rang. I went to pick it up.
"Hello!" I said.
"Sir. A woman named Ananta Ahuja has come. I told her to leave but she has been waiting here for four hours and refuses to leave. What should I do?" The watchman said from the other end.
"Get her up." I said and kept the phone. "Just what I needed right now." I muttered.
"What happened?" Tina asked when she saw me worried.
"There is a woman waiting to meet me for the last four hours. And refuses to leave."
"What? But that hasn't happened for years now. What is her name?" Tina asked.
"Someone called Ananta Ahuja."
"Shit! Are you serious? You don't know who she is?" Tina asked hitting me on my arms.
"I swear baby. I don't know any woman with that name. I don't even look at other women after I got married to you. You must know that." I said accusing her for not trusting me.
"You are such a dumb ass at times. Ananta is Adhiraj's wife. The one who had come to our place. Whom you had invited." Tina said reminding me.
"Oh fuck. You are right. Shit. How could I forget her name?" I said holding my head. "These two have succeeded in making me mad." I said rubbing my temples.
"Call her up. She must have something important to say." Tina yelled.
"I did call her up. Don't worry."
"I don't get it. This man can handle a handful of businesses but can't remember the smallest of details. I swear I am married to a dumb-ass." She kept muttering while getting ready. I looked at her in astonishment. Why is she so hyped. Where is my always so calm wife.
But before I could let any of my thoughts out, she turned and glared at me.
"What are you waiting for? Go wear your pants. She must be here. I will go open the door." She walked hurriedly out. I looked down to see I was indeed without pants. But just a few minutes back I was combing my hair.
