The suite was cold, the sterile scent of luxury filling the air. Outside, the city was alive with lights and sounds, but inside the seven-star hotel, everything was still. Silent. Except for her.

Ghost watched from the shadows as she moved, her every step deliberate, graceful, like a predator surveying its surroundings. She wore a slinky, black satin dress, and the fabric seemed to cling to her every curve, reflecting the soft glow of the room's ambient lighting. Her bare feet were silent on the carpet, but Ghost had tracked her long enough to know exactly how she moved, how she breathed.

Tonight, it will end.

'The Dance of Death' was about to began.

The night was a blur of silk gowns, glittering jewels, and champagne. The gala was in full swing, the guests unaware of the deadly game about to unfold in their midst. Ghost watched from the shadows, his mask hiding more than just his face. His mission was clear: find her, corner her, and end her.

Raven.

She was a ghost in her own right, a spy, a seductress, dangerous as she was beautiful. His target.

He spotted her effortlessly. She stood by the bar, her dark hair cascading down her bare shoulders, Her lips curved into a soft smile as she spoke to a man beside her, but Ghost could see the tension in her eyes. She knew. She was waiting for him.

As he approached, her gaze flickered toward him. She didn't flinch. Instead, her smile widened, as if she had been expecting him all along.

"Care for a dance, soldier?" Her voice was low, sultry, dripping with challenge.

Without a word, he took her hand. The moment their fingers touched, he felt the electric charge between them. She pulled him onto the dance floor, the music swelling around them as they moved in perfect rhythm. Her body pressed against his, soft curves meeting hard muscle, every step a calculated tease.

"You've been watching me," she murmured, her lips dangerously close to his ear. Her breath was warm, sending a shiver down his spine despite his training. "Do you like what you see?"

Ghost didn't respond. He couldn't afford to. But as she slid her hand down his chest, tracing the muscles hidden beneath his suit, he felt his control slipping. The scent of her perfume-intoxicating, dark, like night jasmine-wrapped around him. She was playing with him, and damn if it wasn't working.

"I know why you're here," she whispered, her lips brushing the edge of his jaw, her voice almost a purr. "But killing me won't be that easy."

Their bodies moved in unison, the dance growing more intimate with every step. Her thigh brushed against his, her fingertips trailing over the back of his neck. She was close, so close he could feel the heat radiating off her skin, the slow rise and fall of her chest as she leaned into him.

Ghost's grip tightened on her waist, pulling her closer, but Raven was quicker than he expected. She twisted in his arms, her movements fluid, her hips brushing against him as she spun. Before he could react, he felt the cold kiss of metal against his side.

"You're good," she purred, her lips curving into a dangerous smile. "But I'm better."

With a swift motion, he caught her wrist, spinning her back into him. Her breath hitched as their bodies collided, her blade now held between them, trapped between their chests. She looked up at him, her eyes gleaming with excitement, her lips just inches from his.

The tension crackled in the air. The music faded into the background, the other guests becoming nothing more than shadows. It was just the two of them now, locked in this deadly, intimate dance.
