Nadi's doe eyes shift from her compact mirror to the building her Lyft driver slowly pulls in front of. A smile tugs at her lips as she looks at it in admiration, she had missed it so much.

She glances in her mirror for a final time to make sure her lipstick was not out of place then slips the mirror in her clutch and steps down from the sleek, black SUV. Her honey eyes shift back to the building that she stares at with a gleam in her eyes.

She was excited to finally be attending again after not doing so since June especially since she had been personally invited. The invitation didn't state who specifically invited her so she figured that it was someone within the art world that interacted with those who enjoyed the craft.

A faint sigh slips from her full lips as she tries to settle her nerves and relax even though four months was a long time, but it was well needed. She was trying to get back to her old self and smothering Sloane was not going to help, nor using Xavier as a distraction to fill a void.

She enjoyed the time spent together and actually felt like her younger self at times when around him but it wasn't entirely the same. The two had changed which was expected of them since they were no longer adolescents. Xavier spent a decent amount of time in the Navy and Nadi could tell by the way he carried himself. He was very much still his caring self like she remembered but there was a bit of coldness to him that she understood.

However, just because she was understanding didn't mean that she had to fully accept the new version of him so she had to get back out and explore.

Actually mingle, make conversation with strangers who too had ideas just as bright as her own. Speak up and voice her opinions in creative spaces but most importantly, she wanted to discover who the artist Santiago really was.
