Silvester's bare feet glide along his teakwood floors as he steps back inside his safe haven. After spending his afternoon sorting through art pieces that he was debating on submitting into an upcoming show in Logan Square, he found it best to sit on his patio and have a one on one with God herself while he looked out at the quiet city.

His mind was clustered with what ifs and endless doubts that he tried to combat during prayer. God knew his heart more than he did so at his time of need that's where he sought solace. He was in a place of no judgement which allowed to express himself fully.

Silvester's intentions with Nadi were of a pure nature from the beginning despite the bit of lust evident on both their ends. However, he completely understood her reason for requesting distance and was in no way rushing her to make her final decision.

He wanted her to take her time and think it over thoroughly even if as a result he was left on high alert. The very thing that his therapist Lacey warned shim about had finally come forth and Silvester was left to ride it out.

At the start of their relationship he never thought about mentioning his past to Nadi because for one, he no longer lived that way and he felt that bringing it up would be irrelevant and for two, she never asked about anything regarding who he once was.

As time passed and his love for her grew deeper, telling her like Lacey had insisted became harder for him to do because he knew that the truth would do nothing but cause Nadi harm.

There was no way that he could lay all of that on her in the beginning. Coming clean about something as serious as the way he once lived would run any woman off so he hid it and decided to reveal it when he felt that the time was right.

Six months was far too long of a wait especially after the two had developed a close bond within those six months and an even tighter relationship, but as the saying goes...no one is perfect.

Now that the cat was completely out of the bag, Silvester had to roll with the punches and face the brutal outcome of his own truth. He hoped and prayed that somehow through it all, Nadi could see that he was trying and understand that he no longer lived that lifestyle.

A yawn slips from Silvester's full lips, he ruffles the dark curls topping his head then stretches his limbs as he saunters down the hall towards his bedroom. Just as he feet meet the threshold a string of soft knocks linger throughout his home. His thick brows knit together being that he was not expecting any company especially at this time of night.

At times when he did get late night knocks on his door it was always someone who was lost and ended up at the wrong door. However, the feeling within his heart told him otherwise which causes him to turn around and head to the front of his condo.
