Nara leans against the bar, honey eyes taking in the customers of her father's lively establishment that holds the strong scent of tobacco and fine liquors. Her eyes soon narrow at the gentleman who enters through the glass double doors. Nicely tailored three piece suit, ravishing smile and brown fedora that hid his silky black hair.
When he meets her gaze, she looks away twisting her down turned lips in irritation. She couldn't believe the nerve of him. Ignoring her for three days only to show up unexpectedly with a smirk along his beautiful, dare devil face.
He finally approaches her and places his large palms on the countertop "Now," he takes the time to look her over, noticing the delicate gold fabric of her flapper dress that stopped just above her knees, showing off her beautifully toned moisturized legs. Her once chocolate brown curls were now in loose finger waves, held in place by her feathered diamond encrusted headband.
Her down turned lips, covered in her favorite signature red lipstick, cheeks hidden behind blush while her honey eyes paired well with her smokey eyeshadow, drawing more attention to them. "What is a lady like you doing in a bar....like this?"
Santiago questions as he too, takes in the scenery before him; jazz music fills the room and intertwines with the voices and laughter of all enjoying their night.
Instead of answering his question, Nara looks straight ahead, refusing to meet his dark mesmerizing eyes while she continues to take in the flooding customers. Tonight was her night to take the stage, she did every Saturday since her father often left town due to business and wouldn't return until Monday.
He personally hated that she chose to get involved in the lifestyle of the women he managed however, could not deny the fact that she brought in more customers from her rare and striking beauty. But still, it made her value drop and less desirable to the men seeking a wife. He was just thankful that Allen Jenkins didn't mind it much since Mr. Hansen too was a great business man leaving the two to rub shoulders when it came to partnered investments.
