"I've already notified her, she should be on her way down now." Silvester announces glancing at his buzzing phone held within his left hand. His optics shift to the bright screen only for his thick brows furrow when Antonio's name appears across it.
He declines the call but makes a mental note to reach out to him later within the evening. Optics back on the steel doors a yard a way, his full lips curl into a smile while his heartbeat gradually picks up speed. He had every intention of making it up to Nadi for growing distant after their last date. He had got caught up in his personal life which led him to put his focus on that first but, now that he was free he was able to put it right back on Nadi.
Silvester clenches his jaw when his phone begins to ring again only for his face to soften when he realizes that it was his mother calling. He had spent all day yesterday explaining the vehicle's manual to her and even showed her a bit of the features but still, she couldn't grasp onto it.
"Yes mother?" He answers but quickly places his hand over the screen and leans over to Henry. "Tell her it's a gift from Silvester." He states before he returns to his conversation with his mother.
"Sweetheart can I make it to the grocery store and back if this car is only 80% charged?" A chuckle slips from his full lips as he nods hearing the faint sound of the open door alarm in the background. "You're about to head out now?" He questions as he steps out into the busy sidewalks of Bella Vista.
"Yes but I want to make sure that I don't get stranded while out."
"Mother, on a full charge the battery lasts you well over three hundred miles. Unless you're going on a road trip you'll be fine." He explains as he slips into the front seat of his vehicle. He then connects his phone to the bluetooth and pulls out of his parking space.
"I'm just making sure, you have me driving a spaceship!" Silvester laughs at the exaggeration held within her feisty voice.
"It's just an electric car but I have to get going now, call me if you need anything." The two say their goodbyes just as he pulls up in front of his high rise condo. He parks in his usual spot then makes his way to the elevator and pulls out his phone to respond to the message he had seen from Nadi.
He chuckles at her reaction to the dress he had picked for her. The moment his optics landed on it he knew that he had to get it for her so that's exactly what he did. He also had the perfect place to take her in it and was genuinely excited about it.
Entering his home, he responds to her last message and removes his dress shoes then loosens the tie around his neck as he makes his way to his bedroom. He tosses his phone on the bed and walks over to his jewelry box to remove the jewelry he was sporting on this warm afternoon. Afterwards he changes into something comfortable then grabs his phone and MacBook.
