"Body wash, cream, bonnet uh what else, what else?" Nadi looks around her messy bed and counts off the items of clothing she would be taking with her on her two night stay at Silvester's place. She was a little nervous since she had never stayed the night over anyone's place other than Sloane's but that was far different. They were best friends and made it more like a sleep over party with chick flicks, snacks and the lastest tea or drama they had heard from work.
"Toothbrush!" Nadi hurries into her bathroom and gets her toothbrush along with toothpaste and small travel bag that held most of her skin care items. "I think that's everything, Nadi." Her small hands rest on her hips while honey eyes take a second look at everything she had place in her overnight bag.
"Wait!" She speed walks to her Lego themed dresser and opens one of the drawers then grabs her emerald green, floral short sleeve pajama top and matching shorts then a few extra pair of panties and fuzzy socks just in case Silvester had hardwood floors too. She neatly folds everything and places it in her overnight bag right along with her small plush throw blanket, MacBook and headphones.
"Should I bring jewelry too?" She debates as her eyes shift to her vanity where some of her gold necklaces hung on the vintage necklace holder she got a few months back. Not being able to decide, she sits on her bed and reaches for her phone then goes to the Google search bar and clicks the microphone icon.
"What should I bring when staying the night at my boyfriend's house?"
She bites her bottom lip as the webpage loads now displaying a list of links. She clicks the first one and reads over the small list.
"Toilettes, got it. Pajamas, yes! Charger, don't got that." She locks her phone then gets up to retrieve an extra charger she had stored away in the top drawer of her night stand.
