Location; Chicago IL.
Silvester thrashes his feet around, airways constricting, more water filling his lungs as he feels himself getting unconscious. He tries fighting back but there was more than one hand holding him down, a total of three leaving him weak and incapable of saving himself.
Three of Kash's men were left to do his dirty work while he stood back and watched. After he got word of Sapphire's passing, he took the next flight out to Chicago to have a word with Silvester. Given that she was his best girl, he already knew that his clientele would drop and at the wrong time. He was in the middle of expanding, looking for a spot to open in New York then another down in Miami.
His Bordello in Chicago was his poster child, gaining popularity and more attention from states further out. He knew that once the word spread about the death of one of his women others would soon want to back leaving his pockets to decrease in weight.
"Lift him up." Kash orders, his baritone voice lingering throughout the basement of his three story home. The men pull Silvester up and toss him to the concrete ground. He rolls over on his side and begins to cough up water and gasp for air. His chest heaves up and down, trying his best to gather as much oxygen as his body allowed awhile his optics shift back and forth between the three men. If he made it out alive, he knew who he'd go after first.
He meets pitch black momentarily while still trying to control his breathing. The sound of Kash's heavy footsteps linger throughout the empty space as he approaches Silvester which in return makes him more alert. He shifts his body around and looks his way, meeting his eyes that resembled a jade hue. "Every drug I give you is clean to prevent things like this from happening." Kash removes a switchblade from his pocket and grabs Silvester's dark hair. He winces when he feels the cold blade against his Adam's apple and looks up at Kash with his jaw clenched.
He was just as pissed about Sapphire's death infact he was enraged, he knew her way before Kash did and had a relationship with her. It didn't matter if they spent the majority of their time arguing with one another, he had a place in his heart for her, he cared for her more than any other woman in the bordello and the thought of her mother going on without her daughter was eating him alive.
Because to an extent it was his fault. Yes Sapphire was able to make her own decisions, but Silvester manipulated her into thinking that everything would be fine when the two of the agreed to partake in the darker side of things. He later got her addicted to drugs provided by Kash and played on her weaknesses leaving her to stay because she felt like that was the only option she had.
"None of the shit I gave her was laced, it wasn't me!" Silvester groans, feeling a slight burning sensation on his neck from Kash nicking him.
"Dunk him." Kash's men grab Silvester and shove his head back into the ice filled water, holding him down longer than the first time. He wasn't thrashing around this time, his body was too weak from ice cold water that felt like staps upon his skin and the blood rushing to his head had him slipping in and out of consciousness.
