Silvester nervously chews at his bottom lip as he stares at his reflection in the full length mirror just a few feet in front of him.
Today was the big day!
After two months of plotting and brain storming plus an additional two months of gathering teachers, meeting salary requests and a tremendous amount of other demands, the hard work between not only Silvester but Mr. Bilal had finally paid off.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was scheduled four hours ahead which gave not only himself but Nadi the perfect amount of time to get ready.
Currently, the two were back in his high rise condo deciding on how each wanted to present themselves today.
Silvester settled for a low cut with a tapered fade on the sides meaning that his curls were no more for the time being right along with his facial hair that he requested to be cut off completely leaving his face nice and bare.
Nadi on the other hand was trying something new. She settled for a wig install since she didn't want to straighten her hair nor attend the ceremony with her natural curls. The stylist that Silvester hired for the day suggested that she try a new color that would make her caramel skin pop so she did and settled for a honey blonde.
"You don't think it's too much?" Silvester shifts his view to Nadi, a few feet to his far left in front of her own mirror with her honey eyes stuck on her reflection. He pulls his bottom lip between his teeth at the sight of her.
Her morning dewy skin was glowing right with the smile that appears across her face once their eyes meet. He was beyond thankful that the two of them finally put their differences aside and came together to speak their peace, now all that was left for the two was to actively work together and communicate with each other so they could continue on with their relationship.
