It's a bright afternoon, and the trio Scoups, Jeonghan, and Joshua decide to take a break from their hectic schedules. They head to a popular shopping district, hoping to enjoy a relaxed day out together. The streets are bustling with people, and there's a lively atmosphere. They're all dressed casually, with caps and masks, trying to blend in and avoid too much attention. As they wander through the various shops, Joshua pauses at a window display, admiring something that catches his eyes. Scoups and Jeonghan stand a little behind him, discussing what to do next. Suddenly, a fan, who has recognized Joshua despite his disguise, approaches him. At first, it seems harmless, just someone wanting to say hello to their favorite idol. Joshua, being the kind and gentle person he is, smiles politely and tries to maintain a friendly distance.
However, the fan becomes a bit too eager, stepping closer into Joshua's personal space. He tried to touch his arm and asked for a hug, ignoring the usual boundaries. Joshua, though initially calm, begins to feel uncomfortable. His body language changes, he steps back slightly, his smile fades.
The fan, however, doesn't stop at just saying hello. He get closer, invading Joshua's personal space, and without warning, he grab his arm. The fan, seemingly ignoring Joshua's discomfort, starts to become more insistent. The fan tighten his grip on Joshua's arm, pulling out his phone and trying to position him for a picture. Joshua, now visibly distressed, looks around frantically for his boyfriends, his heart racing as he tries to free himself from the fan's grasp. The situation quickly escalates as the fan, desperate to get their way, begins to raise their voice, accusing Joshua of being rude for not complying.
Scoups is the first to notice Joshua's distress. His attention sharpens immediately, and he quickly moves toward them, his expression hardening. Jeonghan, realizing something is wrong, follows closely behind. Seeing Joshua struggling to pull away from the fan, Scoups' protective instincts kick in full force.
He reaches them in seconds, his presence imposing as he steps between Joshua and the fan, physically separating them. His voice is calm but laced with authority, "That's enough. Let him go."
Jeonghan, on the other hand, moves swiftly to Joshua's side. He pulls Joshua close to him, wrapping an arm around Joshua, his eyes filled with concern. "Are you okay?" Jeonghan whispers, but he can see the fear in Joshua's eyes. The sudden invasion of his personal space, combined with the fan's aggressive behavior, has left Joshua visibly shaken.
The fan, realizing that Scoups is not someone to be taken lightly, nervously tries to backtrack, stammering an apology, but Scoups isn't having it. He firmly but calmly tells the fan, "You've crossed a line. You need to leave now." Without being rude, firmly guides the man away, making sure that he understand that Joshua needs his space.
The fan, flustered and embarrassed, mumbles another apology before scurrying off, finally leaving the trio alone. Once the situation is diffused, Scoups and Jeonghan turn their full attention to Joshua. Jeonghan brushes his fingers through Joshua's hair, giving him a soft, comforting smile. "Are you okay, baby?" he asks, his voice filled with concern.
Joshua nods, though his eyes still show a hint of unease. Scoups steps closer, wrapping an arm around Joshua's shoulders, pulling him into a protective embrace. "We're here," he says, his voice low and reassuring. "No one's going to bother you."
Scoups and Jeonghan exchange a look, both of them feeling a surge of protectiveness for their baby. They decided that shopping trip is over they need to get Joshua somewhere safe and calm him down.
"We're taking you home," Jeonghan says softly, guiding Joshua towards a quieter part of the street. Scoups stays close, his hand never leaving Joshua's arm, providing constant reassurance.
Wanting to make sure Joshua feels completely at ease, Scoups and Jeonghan decide to take him somewhere quieter. They suggest going to a nearby café for a quick treat. Knowing Joshua's love for sweet things, they order his favorite ice cream, hoping it will lift his spirits.
As they sit down together, Joshua slowly begins to relax, the tension from the earlier incident melting away. Scoups and Jeonghan keep a close eye on him, making sure he's comfortable. They engage in light-hearted conversation, trying to distract him from what happened. Jeonghan even cracks a few jokes, earning a small but genuine laugh from Joshua.
"You don't have to worry about anything, Joshuji," Jeonghan says gently. "We'll always be here to protect you. You're our priority."
Scoups nods in agreement, his voice firm but loving. "No one will ever hurt you or make you feel uncomfortable as long as we're around."
Joshua, still a little shaken, but comforted by their words, leans into Jeonghan's side. The warmth and care from his boyfriends start to melt away the lingering fear, and by the time they finish their ice cream, Joshua is feeling much more at ease.
After finishing their ice cream, they head back to their shared apartment.
Once home, they don't waste any time. Scoups and Jeonghan immediately decide that Joshua needs some extra care after the scare he had. They suggest a movie night something light-hearted and fun, to distract Joshua from the day's events.
Jeonghan takes charge of setting up the living room with cozy blankets and pillows, creating a safe and warm environment for Joshua. Scoups picks out a movie, something they know Joshua loves, and makes sure there are plenty of snacks.
Joshua, feeling a bit more like himself again, chooses a hoodie that belongs to Scoups, it's oversized and comforting. He sits down between them on the couch, snuggling close to both. Jeonghan pulls the blanket over them, making sure Joshua is wrapped up tight, while Scoups starts the movie.
As the movie starts, Joshua finds himself relaxing completely. He leans against Scoups, who has an arm draped around his shoulders, while Jeonghan rests his head on Joshua's lap, holding his hand. They stay like this throughout the movie, a tangle of limbs and soft touches, creating a cocoon of love and protection around Joshua.
Every now and then, Jeonghan or Scoups would whisper something sweet or reassuring to Joshua, reminding him how much he means to them. Joshua feels their love in every little gesture. The way Scoups absentmindedly rubs his thumb against Joshua's shoulder, the way Jeonghan squeezes his hand whenever there's a quiet moment.
By the end of the night, Joshua is feeling much better. The earlier encounter with the fan is a distant memory, overshadowed by the warmth and care of his two loving boyfriends.
By the end of the movie, Joshua is feeling much more relaxed, the warmth and love from his boyfriends having fully soothed his earlier fear. He's reminded once again how much they care for him, how they'll always be there to protect him, no matter what.
Before heading to bed, Scoups and Jeonghan pull Joshua into a warm embrace, one on either side, holding him tightly. Jeonghan whispers, "We love you, baby. You don't have to be scared as long as we're here."
Scoups adds, "You're our everything, and we'll do whatever it takes to make sure you're happy and safe."
Joshua, feeling overwhelmed with love, nods, a soft smile on his face as he whispers back, "I love you both so much."
As they cuddle up together in bed, with Joshua nestled safely between them, he finally drifts off to sleep, knowing that with Scoups and Jeonghan by his side, he's always going to be safe, cherished, and deeply loved.
