It was a peaceful Sunday morning, the kind where the world outside felt quiet and still. The soft rays of the sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room where Joshua lay sound asleep, cocooned in blankets. Mingyu and Wonwoo had been up for a while, whispering and moving quietly around the house, determined to give Joshua the ultimate day of rest and pampering.
Joshua had been working hard, and his tiredness was starting to show. So, Mingyu and Wonwoo decided today would be all about him. They prepared his favorite breakfast fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit and whipped cream, paired with his beloved coffee and carried it into the bedroom on a tray, ready to spoil him from the moment he opened his eyes.
Wonwoo gently shook Joshua awake, his voice soft and loving. "Shua, wake up. We have something special for you."
Joshua stirred, his eyes fluttering open to the sight of his two boyfriends standing beside the bed, grinning from ear to ear. He blinked a few times, confused but smiling, as Mingyu set the tray on his lap.
"Breakfast in bed?" Joshua asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he sat up, looking at the delicious spread before him.
"All for you," Mingyu said with a wink. "We've got a whole day planned for you."
Joshua smiled, his heart warming at their thoughtfulness. He started to eat, and Mingyu and Wonwoo took turns feeding him bites of pancake and fruit. They laughed and teased each other, arguing playfully about who got to cuddle him more, all while Joshua basked in their affection.
When breakfast was done, Mingyu and Wonwoo exchanged a secretive look. "Alright," Wonwoo said, "time for the next part."
Joshua raised an eyebrow, curious. "Next part?"
"You'll see," Mingyu said with a grin, gently pulling Joshua out of bed and leading him toward the bathroom.
Joshua's eyes widened when he saw what they had prepared. The bathtub was filled with warm water, swirling with calming colors from the bath bombs they had dropped in earlier. Scented candles lined the edge of the tub, filling the room with the relaxing scent of lavender and chamomile. Soft music played in the background, the gentle tunes of Joshua's favorite songs setting the perfect atmosphere.
"Guys..." Joshua whispered, touched by the effort they had gone to. "This is amazing."
"All for you, love," Wonwoo said, placing a tender kiss on Joshua's cheek. "Now, time to relax."
Joshua slipped into the warm bath, sighing as the heat and soothing scents washed over him. Mingyu handed him a cup of herbal tea, and they both stayed by his side, chatting quietly and making sure he had everything he needed.
After a long, indulgent soak, Joshua emerged feeling completely relaxed. They led him to the bedroom, where his comfiest clothes were waiting. After dress up, they led Joshua out into the living room, where their final surprise awaited. Mingyu had transformed the space into a cozy little hideaway, building a fort out of blankets and pillows on the couch. Soft fairy lights twinkled around the room, casting a warm glow that made everything feel magical.
"Come here," Wonwoo said, pulling Joshua toward the couch. They settled in together, with Joshua sandwiched between his two boyfriends. Mingyu wrapped a blanket around all of them, and soon they were snuggled up, completely comfortable.
"What movie should we watch?" Mingyu asked as he scrolled through the options.
"Something relaxing," Joshua said, leaning his head on Wonwoo's shoulder. "I just want to be cozy with you guys."
They picked a light, feel-good movie, and as the film started, Joshua felt like he was in heaven. Every now and then, one of them would lean in to press a kiss to his cheek or forehead, or gently stroke his hair, making sure he knew how loved and cherished he was. Mingyu would feed him little snacks, and Wonwoo would cuddle closer, their presence surrounding him like a warm embrace.
As the movie played, Joshua found himself drifting in and out of a peaceful haze. Every now and then, he'd feel Mingyu's lips on his temple, or hear the soft sound of Wonwoo's steady breathing beside him. The entire day had been perfect gentle, loving, and exactly what Joshua needed.
By the time the credits rolled, Joshua was nestled comfortably between them, his heart full and his body completely relaxed. He closed his eyes, smiling as he felt the warmth of their love all around him.
"Thank you," Joshua whispered, his voice barely above a breath. "I love you both so much."
"We love you more," Wonwoo whispered back, kissing the top of his head.
"Always," Mingyu added, his hand resting gently on Joshua's chest as they held him close.
As the day melted into evening, the three of them stayed there, tangled up in each other, content and happy in the simple joy of being together. Joshua couldn't imagine a more perfect day, surrounded by the love and care of the two people who meant everything to him.
