The gravity was gone. V1 felt himself float up as everything around him did the same, hovering in the air. Using this as a chance to escape, V1 jumped on rocks and reached the Cathedral's roof, finding a hatch above. Signaling to V, V1 opened the hatch and entered, revealing a network of tunnels that led upward.
Inside the safety of the hatch, the duo fell as the gravity suddenly returned. The Earthmover shook, rocks falling from above.
V stared at V1 while he ran a visual scan.
'Gabriel. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?'
[Machine, elaborate.]
'There's a chance that the flesh pit below connects to a Terminal network.'

'A network of Terminals run the passageway through Hell. I think the hole under the Earthmover leads to a similar network.'
[This is too much of a risk. I have three hours before regaining my body, and if it is a trap, it would mean death for all of us.]
