The battlefield was set ablaze. The remains of his friends lay scattered across the barrens. Fire rained from the skies whilst black rain thundered on; oil: The result of Uzi, and N's final ascent to destroy Cyn-or rather, The Solver itself. Saving Cyn was a lost cause; it always had been. Since the gala, Cyn had ceased to exist, all fake, all a ruse made by the Solver-- the only disguise it wore without flaw. Uzi had shielded V1 as the Death Angels sacrificed themselves to shatter Cyn's barrier, and J had descended to deliver the blow that would expose Cyn to the sunlight, to fry her into oblivion. Their plan had worked until Cyn was taken over by something far more methodical and ancient, only fueled by its lust for stimuli. In an instant, the tides changed, with Cyn using the Solver to liquefy herself into J, seeping inside the delicate circuitry, corroding and morphing it into its own.. The initial thought was simple: Wouldn't it be interesting to give up its ability to fight entirely, dissolving into an essence that embodied and amplified the Solver's one true aspect: Assimilation and creation?
And it had chosen J as its lab rat, taking over the disassembly drone instantly, using her as a puppet to mutilate her friends, and as it saw V1 with his railcannon, taking aim, it had given up its physical form entirely, dissipating into the void as strings of code and flesh incomprehensible, and reconstructing itself on the fly- using the carcass of its steed, the Earthmover, which had its heart pierced by Khan's squad, though they all died out in the crossfire.
Desperate to stop Cyn from reassessing and activating the Earthmover once more, N and Uzi had risen up, trying to reach the Earthmover's core before it fully materialized with Cyn.
Through the clouds and blotted stars, through the deaths and tragedy on their behalf, the pair of human-like machines, no, machine-like humans rose, and then... None were left to speak of their Eulogy. None was left to speak of their Elegy.
No one would be able to answer the paradoxical question: Do robots dream of love and friendship? No one was left to weep for them, as V1; the sole survivor on the glaring, stinging winds, turned off his emotional module. ... ... .
..? V1's optics stung, and it didn't know why.

The Earthmover glared at V1. V1 bowed to the titanic machine as it roared, its lance about to strike the earth. The lance connected, burning, melting the snow and dirt as it detonated, magnified by the Solver. Everything in its range was erased, shredded into bits as the Earthmover searched for its target. Negative. V1 had escaped.
Now scaling the Earthmover's hull, V1 made his way to the Earthmover's fuel source, aiming to stop its railcannon from functioning. In response, a squad of disassembly drones was deployed, flanked by the N.O.S.T. division.
