Kakashi,
I have a job now. It doesn't pay for much but is enough to buy meals.
I sharpen knives and scissors for a lot of the shops in town.I asked if I could help at the academy and they told me no.
Your squad got split up into different groups. Sakura is with Guy, Naruto is with Asuma, and Sasuke is with Kurenai.
They stop by sometimes.
Mostly Sakura.Lady hokage is very busy recently. Other than that the village is calm.

"You'll have to ask your sensei." I say.

"Please. We'll do more training later. Can we get some lunch?" The students ask.

Something in the edge of my vision draws my attention. I turn and see a shinobi I'm not familiar with.
Once we lock eyes he waves me over.
I excuse myself from the table and walk over to him.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your meal." He says.
"No. No worries." I say reassuringly.
"You have been asked to accompany some others on a mission." He says opening a folded piece of paper.
"Me?" I question.
"Yes. Your skills will prove valuable in the mission." He says.
"Can you be at the gate in ten minutes?" He asks.
I must have made a face because he keeps talking.
"Or if that's not okay it's fine. We just should go but it-"
