I open my eyes to the glowing blue light.

Kisame is in front of me.

I look down and I'm sat with my legs crossed the same as him.

"The water speaks to me. About you." He says. His voice echoes in my ears.

I hold my hand out and flex my fingers.

"I wish I could've trained with you from the beginning. You would've been someone I'd like to have known." He says.

"We will meet again. First you have to choose to keep going. Itachi wanted me to give you this." He hands me a small charm on a string.

I take it and run my fingers over it.

"It should help with grounding yourself. It looks like you're ready now." He says.

I sit up and gasp for air.

I'm sitting in the river alone.

I can move again.

A stag walks over to me. I reach my hand out and it bows its head. I scratch the top of its head lightly.

It leans back up and walks away slowly.

Within two minutes a woman and a child come running out of the forest.

"Are you alright?" The woman says.

The child gives me a hand to get out of the water.

"The deer." The child says reading my thoughts.

"We have a connection with them. They told us there was a woman in the water." The woman says out of breath.

I look around behind me. I don't sense anyone. I wish I could've told those two from before thanks.

"Shikamaru go tell your father." The woman says.

The child runs off.

"Here, let me help you back to my house." She says.

"Thank you." I say my voice sounding horrible.

"I'm Yoshino. That was my son Shikamaru." She says.

I nod and follow her to her house.

It's absolutely beautiful.

We sit at the front of the house. And she gives me a cup of hot water.

A man waves at us and jogs over.
"Shikamaru told me." He says.

"Hi, Shikaku." He says reaching his hand out.

I shake it and he rummages in his bag.

"You should have some of this. It'll help with the shock." He says handing me a small square of food.

He sits next to his wife and they both look at me in pity.

I haven't looked at myself. I wonder why they are acting like that.

"Can you walk alright? We should probably take you to the infirmary." Shikaku says.

"I think so." I reply. It comes out like wind blowing through a small space in the window.

Once in the infirmary they hook up an iv. The nurse said that she hadn't seen skin like mine before.

After just only a few minutes the hokage is in my room. She has several people accompanying her.

Then she does something that surprises me.

Lady hokage gets down on the floor and bows her head.
