I feel sick walking back to the barracks.
This new secret.
A new lie.
Deception.
What am I doing
I can't do thatCala tries to talk to me again today.
I flinch away from her.
I can't know anything about her. I don't want to.
I go into the private bathroom and pull out the heavy kunai that Danzo gave me.
I open my mouth and look at the weird markings on my tongue. A curse mark.
This is so I can't tell anyone.
Even if I wanted to.
I point the kunai to my chest and think of plunging it hard into it.
I then think of how many I could take in the barracks.
A small voice brings me out of my darkness.
"Can you hurry up please?" A voice says.
I tuck my kunai back into my pocket and splash my face with water.
I open it and walk back to my room.
Tiger meets my eyes.
He knows something.Or maybe I'm just paranoid.
"Hey we're gonna get drinks tonight." He tells me.
"Really?" I ask.
"Not that much just to get out." He replies.
"We're allowed to leave?" I ask.
"We're not prisoners." He says.
His choice of words sting.
"I'll pass." I say.
"Sure." He says.
I change my clothes and go to bed early.
...
Tenzo has to be suspicious of me now.
As I drink from my canteen I feel his eyes burning into my skin.
I bounce my leg and wait for the next instructions.
"Today is only a recon mission. Find the intel— report back. Simple." He says.
I watch as he walks past us all standing in a line.
He has this air of mystery about him. I can't imagine what secrets he has.
Tiger finds me in line and bumps my shoulder.
I don't smile at him.
My mission is impossible.
Is it worth completing t be excepted?
Will this even get me excepted? When I see Tiger's smile drop I can't take it.
I pretend to be offended. And turn away dramatically.
He laughs.
I look back at him and smile.
I won't do this mission.
...
You know that tickle that you get when someone is looking at you?
That uncomfortable uneasy feeling?
Yeah I'm definitely being watched and I'm not sure what that means.
I have not completed Danzos mission yet.
