We reach the main building and Kakashi hoists me up a little higher. The crowd makes a small gap to walk through.

Everyone is cheering and screaming.

A woman leads us to a large door.

"Through here you'll find your space. I personally brought your backpacks here. There is two locks on the door and I am just down the hall if you require anything. Thank you again Princess Akari. And you Mister?"

"Kakashi Hatake." He replies.

"Ah yes. Princess Akari and Lord Kakashi. We now serve under the Hatake leadership. Have a blessed night." She says then leaves.

I open the door and my jaw drops to the floor.

A huge living room and kitchen. Large windows and a huge bed in the other room. And the shiniest bathroom I've ever seen.

"Wow." Kakashi says.

"I don't really need all this space." I say smiling.

"Well it's plenty of room for two." He says.

My smile falls.

"Are you still wanting to stay here? I'm okay if you don't." I say.

Kakashi pulls me into the bedroom and sits on the edge of the bed.

"I want this for you. I want to be with you! I've never really had this." He says motioning to the room.
"But I can't say I don't like it." He says.

"Can you get changed by yourself?" He says while opening my backpack.

He then pulls a drawer open and hold up clothes.
"Look new clothes."

"My knee hurts pretty bad..." I say dragging out the letters.

He laughs and grabs some clothes and sets them next to me.

I then let him wiggle my pants off and my blood crusted shirt.

He then slips the new clothes on my body.

He changes his quickly and is excited to find a matching new wardrobe.

As he changes I see bruises on his body.

After that he grabs a damp cloth and gently rubs the dried blood off my face and hands.

"Why do you have so many bruises?" I say sadly.

He pauses and sets the cloth down.

He picks up my hands and traces his thumbs on them as he talks.

"You got him with your knife and gave him a large wound down his torso. You then tried to convince him to forfeit. He didn't.
He then..." Kakashi stops his voice quivering.

"He got up, purely from adrenaline, and ordered his comrades to kill me." He says.

My eyes nearly pop out of my head.

"You attacked him, of course, and I fought off the ones in the stands." He says.

"Then what?" I ask knowing there's more.

"I was pulled away from the fight and got moved away from the ring. You I guess thought something terrible happened to me." He says.

I wait for the next part.

"You were pretty brutal but rightly so. You closed his wounds with your ice ability and peeled his skin off with your knife." He says.

I lay my head on his lap.

"They just kept letting you do it even after he bled out. I was the one to get you to let go of the knife. And then I pulled you out of there." He says.

"You hate me." I murmur.

"No."

"I disgust you."

"No."

"I'm a horrible person."

"No. Hey, he was a bad man." Kakashi says brining my face back up.

"How do you know?!" I cry out.

He stops and his face changes.

"I trained him!" I yell.

I push him away and sink to the floor.

"Hey..." Kakashi tries.

"I created that... I showed him." I say sobbing.

"You are not to blame." He says.

"It is not your fault!" He says harshly and pulls my hands off of my face.

I shake my head.

"Do you think I ever think about things like that?! Do you think that I kill people heartlessly?" He yells at me.

"Every last person. I feel them. Hear them. In the Anbu you have to ensure they're dead." He says with venom.

"You are their leader now! Tomorrow you have to own what you did. And shape the next pathways of this village. This, you being upset, will make a poor leader." He says.

I slap him across his cheek.

He touches his face.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" I beg.

"I never wanted to be the leader." I say.

He stands up.

My heart drops.

He then holds out his hand. I grab it and stand up.

He's crying.

"I almost lost you. When I pulled you out, your eyes were empty. I was just beside myself with grief. I was begging and praying to all that I know." He says.

"I'm here with you to support you!" He says.

I cup the side of his face.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I cry.

"I promised you didn't I? I'll stay by your side forever." He says.

I nod.
"I know. I know. I want you to lead too." I say.

He tries to protest.

"Together. I want us to lead together. We will then be able to make things work here." I say.

"Kakashi will you be the lord of the land?" I say in a funny voice.

He laughs.

"I Kakashi Hatake vow to serve and protect along side you." He replies.
