Just My Cup of Tea

Hi everyone....

its me...hey....

I know it's been years since I last updated this story so firstly, I just want to give everyone the biggest apology ever. 

I know how annoying and frustrating it is when a story is left half-finished, especially since I left on quite a cliffhanger (dick move, I'll admit, I'm very sorry). But to be honest with you guys, back then I just fell out of love with writing and I had a lot of personal problems and life changes to deal with so I just didn't have the motivation or the time to continue writing.

I think I also got kind of bored with my own story and it just so happened the other day I stumbled across my old wattpad account and saw my half finished story. I honestly wanted to complete it because we weren't too far from the ending anyway, but when I started to read through some of the old chapters and whatnot, I couldn't get over how much I didn't want to write this story anymore. 

I've grown a lot as a writer (and person) these last few years, and the writing style of this book really just didn't reflect that at all anymore. If I was going to finish the book, I wanted to go through and edit every single chapter, redefine the characters and character arcs, and change the plot and some key details. At that point it would just be a whole new story and I was honestly just bored with the storyline anyway so I didn't want to do that. 

However, it was also strangely inspiring being back here and I think it revived my love for writing so I've decided to start a new book. 

I really like the plotline of the whole "arranged marriage" thing like this book so I decided to keep that but now it's more of a fantasy-romance-adventure???

I swear to you guys, I will be finishing this book entirely so rest assured you will get some kind of end. This storyline is a lot more intricate and deeper than anything else I've written, it's got a lot of layers, history and context so if you feel like immersing yourself in a new fantasy world with magic, prophecies, curses, politics and plenty of interesting characters and tropes to keep you on your feet, I really do recommend giving my book a shot. 

I missed you guys, and I really do hope you give my book a chance and that you like it.
