'You're back!' Alexander looked surprised to see me as if he had forgotten about my existence and just came to realize that he was indeed married and had indeed left his wife alone on their honeymoon and instructed his driver to bring her to his house.

'So are you.' I raised an eyebrow taking in his appearance. He was wearing a crisp white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and his jacket over his arm. Was that all he ever wore?

'Alex!' Lin rushed from behind me to wrap her arms around him planting a big kiss on his cheek. I watched with a small smirk. So Lin was his mom figure huh?

His eyes were fixated on me as Lin showered him with kisses and I watched his eyes visibly darken when he caught sight of my smirk. He hugged Lin back and she walked off with his jacket leaving the two of us there alone in the doorway. We stood there for a moment watching Lin scurry away before suddenly remembering that the other existed.

Alexander cleared his throat and walked towards the enormous stairs. Lin's words rang in my ear about not giving up on him and before I could stop myself I asked: 'How was your trip?' I didn't mean to sound so incredibly pissed but yeah, I was pretty pissed for being left alone in that foreign country. Alexander froze and turned to look at me with a raised eyebrow.

'Fine. And yours?'

'Just wonderful.' I replied through gritted teeth. The fact he looked so unscathed by what I was saying only made me angrier. And the fact that he looked really good standing on the first step looking back down with one hand on the rail didn't help either. He frowned at me like he wasn't quite sure what I wanted.

'Why did you instruct the Ross to bring me to your mansion. I do have an apartment you know.' he cocked his head and gave me a curious look. It was the most interest he had shown in me ever since we had met.

'Yes...I am aware that you reside somewhere else however we're....married...now and therefore you'll live here at my house.' I resisted the urge to tell him it wasn't a house but a mansion. Clenching my fist I glared at him. He turned and began to walk up the stairs, the nerve of him.

'Says who?' He froze again and turned to look at me with a confused glare and a quite surprised expression. Had a woman never talked back to his highness.

He narrowed his eyes at me. 'We're married in case that fact slipped your mind. And you agreed to this.' He sounded accusing, as if I were supposed to disagree. I rolled my eyes.

'I agreed to saying "I do", not moving out of my apartment and living in some ridiculously enormous castle. Why do you even need this much room, you're hardly even here.' I gave him an annoyed glance. Something glinted in his eyes. Something indescribable. He frowned at me. We stood glaring at each other in silence for a moment.

'You can do whatever you want Inanna-'

'-Millana.' I glared harder at the asshole who had the nerve to purposely get my name wrong.

'-But you and I both know that your parents are going to send you back to this "ridiculously enormous castle" and as much as you probably love putting on a fight for no reason, take some advice and just go with it for once. For your own benefit.' I gaped at him in shock. Here I was expecting at least some kind of compromise but he had been a jerk every since I had met him.

He didn't give me a chance to reply - not that I had much to say to his absurdity - and he walked up the rest of the stairs leaving me staring after him like my mouth was a fly trap. I heard footsteps coming from the kitchen but I was so shocked, I didn't even bother to turn. Then I felt a presence beside me and heard the soft chuckling.

'Told you, you married the wrong cousin.'
