The feeling of the wind in my hair was everything. I was stood out on the balcony, my arms rested against the rails and a glass of ice cool lemonade in my hand as I stared out at the ocean. It was sunset time.
I watched with an unwavering gaze, as a fiery red orb of light slowly sank beneath the horizon, and threads of light lingered in the sky, mingling with the rolling clouds, dyeing the heavens first orange, then red, then dark blue, until all that was left of the sunset was a chalky mauve, and then that melted away in turn as stygian darkness took over the sky. Sequin-silver stars like the glowing embers of a dying fire winked down at me, illuminating the atramentous curtain of sky, and then suddenly the clouds parted, and I found myself looking at a lustrous, argent disc casting brilliant rays of moonlight onto the dark grounds.
I closed my eyes and inhaled sharply again. Everything about being here brought peace to my mind. To my soul. I licked my lips and took another sip of my lemonade- a much healthier alternative compared to coke or wine- before running my hand through my hair and walking back inside my room.
Alexander didn't waste a single moment and had spent his evening in his bedroom probably reading invoices or some kind of business document despite his father banning him from it. It was funny because I would relish in an opportunity to get away from work once in awhile. His poor soul probably didn't know what to do other than work.
Figuring this trip was probably going to end up like the last, I decided to make a list of places to go after coming back from the balcony, taking some help from google- not that I needed it- and scribbling down a list of all the things I would do before this week ended.
Maybe I could even call Arty to come with me, because going on my own would be boring as hell.
It didn't take long for me to finish the list and I was left feeling tired and exhausted from the day. While I was hoping on swimming before going to bed, I knew I would probably just pass out in the water so deciding to play it safe rather than sorry, it didn't take long before I was fast asleep on a heap of blankets and cushions.

I slept like a baby. I couldn't recall the last time I had slept so well. I woke up to the sound of waves and the sun seeping through the windows. I probably stayed on that bed just stretching in questionable positions for a good 5 minutes before remembering I was indeed in a beautiful and exotic place and I was wasting time on this bed.
In precisely 5 minutes, I was dressed in some lime green pegged pants and white silk button up shirt that I tucked into the pants, pairing it all with peep toe platform white heels and throwing my hair up in a messy ponytail.
My stomach seemed to agree with my thoughts because it rumbled as I trailed down the stairs of the house and walked into the kitchen. The fridge was stocked to my surprise and I didn't waste the opportunity and began to take out ingredients to make french toast. Connecting my phone to the speakers, I blasted some music while spinning around the kitchen whisking eggs and chopping strawberries.
I didn't know whether Alexander was going to eat or had already eaten but for the sake of it, I decided to make double portions. I could be too generous I swear.
While I was busy singing Fetish and flipping the toast on the pan, I didn't hear him come in when he did. I heard him before I saw him.
'Nice moves.' I jumped in surprise and spun around, throwing the spatula in my hand before I could think of anything else.
Alexander dodged the hot kitchen tool just in time and raised an eyebrow at me, a small smirk playing on the corners of his lips.
'What are you doing here!' I snapped, my face heating slightly at the thought of him catching me dancing. Let's just say, I wasn't exactly graceful when I danced.
