'I'm obviously higher than you!' Arty shouted at me, wiggling slightly to swing higher. I rolled my eyes and pushed harder.
'Are you blind?' I shouted back, chuckling slightly when the swing reversed back.
'Blindly in love with you!' Arty screamed back making me burst out laughing. He wasn't kidding when he said we were going to the park and when we got there he parked the car and ran out screaming "Last one to the swings is a rotten egg."
I probably overestimated my maturity because all of a sudden being the rotten egg didn't sound very appealing and and I sprinted after him eventually overtaking him. He was in a sour loser mode for a bit muttering about how I cheated and how he felt so betrayed but it vanished as soon as he climbed onto the swings.
'I'll buy you some glasses, you won't be in love much longer.' I laughed tilting my head to look at him. He was already grinning at me before jumping off the swing while it was in the air and landing on his butt. I doubled over, struggling to stay on the swing as I laughed at him. He pouted at me.
'It hurts!' he screamed at me, rubbing his bottom tenderly only making me laugh even harder. I did as he had, jumping off the swing while it was in the air and landing gracefully on my feet, in a squatted position before standing up to smirk at him. He glowered at me before pointing to his butt.
'It still hurts.'
'Shall I kick it better?' I batted my eyelashes, giving him the sweetest smile I could muster.
'Kiss it instead.' I rolled my eyes and turned towards the slides. Arty ran ahead of me soon, towards the slides, shouting back at me to beat him now. Much to his distress, I did beat him again.
'You're cheating!' he pointed accusingly at him.
'On you? Yes.' He gasped and clutched his chest. 'Lanna, how...how could you?' I shrugged and pushed myself down the slide, laughing at how childish this was but how it had the ability to amuse me.
Arty dropped down onto the floor, sitting crossed leg, glaring at the ground. I rode the slide a few more times, making jokes about his hair and about how slow he was. When I didn't get a response, I walked to where he was sitting, sat down beside him and began to poke his cheek.
'Arty.'
No response.
'Arty Farty.'
No response.
'Farty Marty.'
Still no response.
'Or was your name Will?' I asked, a smirk on my face. His eyes snapped my to meet mine.
'Oh hell no!' he jumped up but I was already sprinting towards the slides, laughing wildly. 'First you cheat on me, then you forget my name!' he chased me around the park, making stupid jokes that would make me hysterical and slow me down until he eventually caught up to me and knocked me to the ground.
'This is what you get.' And then he tickled me. I screamed and laughed and struggled to push him off, tears forming in my eyes as I begged for him to stop. Fuck! How did he know that I was ticklish?
'Stop please! I'm sorry! I'll n-never ch-cheat again!' I screamed and then it stopped. Arty was standing there grinning at me like a maniac. I blinked at him through the tears that had formed with all that laughter and sat upright, breathing heavily.
'C'mon cousin in law, let go get your cake.'

'He won't be able to take his eyes off you!' Olivia squealed, helping me slip on my heels. I scoffed and glanced at myself once more in the mirror.
'Trust me, he's been doing a lot of that lately.' I muttered, clearing my throat and turning to smile at Olivia. She rolled her eyes at me and fell back on the bed.
