The rest of the week went by in a buzz. Alexander accompanied me to wherever I went and while I pretended to be annoyed with him, I genuinely appreciated the effort and time he was giving. Even if he had no choice.

We visited the museums and theme parks and all of the tourist hot spots. For 2 of our final 3 days, Alexander got his hands on a boat (not that I'd have been hard considering it was him), and we spent those 2 days in complete bliss, swimming through the salty water and doing any water activities possible.

On the last day, I was completely and utterly exhausted and I could practically see Alexander twitching with desire to get back to his precious business. However, he stayed loyal to his tradition and after breakfast gave me a questioning raised eyebrow that asked what our plans for today were. I waved him off and told him I wanted a lie in and that he could do whatever he pleased.

Lie in was exactly what I did. I took a towel, put on a tank top and shorts and went out to soak up some sun on the beach directly behind the house. It wasn't long before the heat had taken its toll on my tired muscles and before I knew it, my eyes were closed away as I slept in the sun.

Being awoken by Alexander (by being shaken half to my grave) wasn't exactly my ideal way of being woken.

'Millana! Millana get up!' he shook me again. I groaned and muttered something incohesive but probably along the lines of "get lost asshole" as I turned away.

'They're here!' he stressed again.

'I don't care, they can take me.' I mumbled again, curling into the fetus position hiding my face. I felt him pause in confusion for him.

'Are you dreaming?' he asked, pulling away from me.

'I sure hope so, because this is one hell of a nightmare with you here.' I growled again.

'Are you insane?' It was probably the fact he wasn't kidding when he said that and probably thought I was that sent me laughing.

'Yes.' I finally said, opening a single eye to peer at him. He looked just like his usually cocky and stupid self but there was a change. Well, other than the fact he was not in his suit and didn't have a phone manually glued to his ear. It was his eyes. They looked panicked and stressed and that was probably the most emotion I had ever seen in them.

'Who's here?' I finally asked, remembering he mentioned someone's arrival.

'Our parents.' Now it was my turn to panic. I shot up from my seat and stared at him in shock.

'What?! What are they doing here?!' I practically screamed at him before getting off the sun chair, grabbing my towel and jogging towards the house. Alexander was right beside me.

'I have no idea but I saw my father's car from the road there and then I came down to tell you.' I stopped in my tracks and gave him a look.

'We have to put your things in my room before they realize that we're not even sleeping in the same room.' he ordered, his eyes looking all over the house as if it were filled with traps.

'Hold up. You saw a car and you're freaking out because it was similar to your dad's?' I raised an eyebrow at him but he just gave me a bland look.

'I know for a fact that it was my dad's car because it was personalized when it was made and we're the only house here.'

'Got it.' I ran back to the house and by the time I reached the stairs, I could hear the cars pulling up in the driveway. Swearing a million curse words and ignoring Alexander's continuous "get your stuff in my room"s, I sprinted up the stairs, nearly tripping on one of the steps, before catching myself. I probably looked like a mad woman when I hurled all my clothes and suitcases from my room and dragged the enormous pile into Alexander's room.
