I died, got isekai-d, and found out that soulmates are a thing.. In a world where trying to find one of them might end up in getting the attention of a murderous cult of nazis. All while black and weird no less..

Ambient sounds of east-side populus were carried along the cold breeze, adding a much-needed comforting touch to the inconvenience of our day's plans. Agent Barton appeared at our doorstep this morning, mere minutes after I woke up, and demanded that Ayana join us in the kitchen.
He mentioned that she had to show up for training every morning at 6:00 am sharp and that this would be the last time we'd be accompanied by an agent anywhere unless we were ready for field operations. Ayana, while still somewhat sleepy, did not complain. She was still visibly, at least visibly to me, struggling with her guilt over the conversation she had with Stark the previous day, but still managed to let herself talk, eat, and smile.
Maybe her powers were making her a true morning person like the one she thought she was, it's just 'not her fault that the most creative side of her brain hates the sun'.
The archer then sent her text information via cellular phone and gave her a few minutes to scan through it before telling her that she'd be given a card when they arrived at shield headquarters. When we finally left the building in the early morning darkness, I had to sigh deeply at Agent Barton's motorbike. Was I not allowed to join them?
While my Soulmate put her helmet on and got situated on the vehicle, looking beyond attractive while doing so with her new clothes, the agent pulled me aside and said "I'll text when to come, you wouldn't want to miss watching her first day, the second part's worth it, I promise!"
"You'll text-? Watch without her knowing?"
"Yeah!" he smirked and nudged me by the elbow "She's a smart cookie, probably already knows"
"Alright, see you later"
"Yeah, same floor" he said and joined Ayana with his own helmet.
I heard a hint of Ayana's excited rant about her motorcycle when she waved goodbye. I remained a few seconds, watching them glide in near non-existent traffic and the beginning of rainfall.
And moments later I was already bored out of my mind...
I thought back to the kids Yaya had seen on the roof and the parkour videos I'd watched, I wanted to try some of those moves, maybe meet the kids and learn from them.
I sighed and jogged at a boring, average human pace to the park.

My day was pretty uneventful up to the point Barton texted me, parkour took more creativity and planning than I thought, so when I looked up inspiration online I ended up watching more than practicing. The moment I felt the phone vibrate I was glad that Ayana had instilled the habit of carrying the phone with me 'somewhere you could feel the vibrations'. We both hated it when it rang.
