Mama Tina took a bite of her food, then turned to Bey with that knowing look only she could pull off. "You surprised?"

Beyoncé smiled softly, glancing at me, then back at her mama.

"Yes, I am," she said, her voice light and full of warmth.

It was one of those moments where everything felt like it was falling into place, like family dinners were supposed to be like this forever.

I leaned back, smiling to myself, watching Amora, my little girl, who hadn't left Mama Tina's side all night.

She didn't even seem to care about Beyoncé being in the room, which was unusual. She was usually all over Bey, but tonight? Nah, she was all about Mama Tina.

Amora tapped Mama Tina gently on the arm, and without missing a beat, Mama Tina scooped some rice off her plate and fed it to her like they'd done this a hundred times before.

The sight of them together, bonding like that, made my chest tighten in a way I didn't expect. My baby was being loved on, and I was soaking in every second of it.

Beyoncé's voice broke through my thoughts. "Amora, you using my mama for food?" she teased, raising an eyebrow at our daughter.

Amora's response was immediate, her tiny hands flying up to cover her mouth as she giggled, some rice nearly spilling out.

"I like her rice," she said, the joy in her voice contagious.

Mama Tina laughed, reaching over to wipe a little rice off Amora's chin. "Leave my baby alone, Beyoncé."

I couldn't help but laugh at that. Seeing my daughter so loved, not just by me, but by Beyoncé's family too? It made everything feel right.

Amora wasn't just mine—she was theirs too. And that, more than anything, made me feel at peace.

Solange, who'd been quiet most of the night, suddenly chimed in, her voice playful. "I hear wedding bells," she said with a smirk, looking between me and Bey.

Beyoncé asked, "So who set this up?"

I answered, "Lauren suggested we come, and we've been talking to your mom." She grabbed my hand under the table, and I squeezed back.

Angie looked at Amora and asked how she was. Amora started chatting away, then looked at me with a smirk. "I have a secret," she said.

I warned her, "You better not," but Kelly encouraged, "What happened, Amora?"

Giggling, Amora said, "My mommy and BB pees in the bed! Isn't that nasty?"

Beyoncé laughed, but I shot her a look. "Enough of that, Amora, seriously."

As the table laughed, I leaned over to Beyoncé.

"And since you're laughing, you can use your hand later." Her laughter stopped immediately, and she told the table to hush.
