As expected, spring ushered in warmer temperatures and eras of significant change. And yet, forasmuch as Lyndsey and Tatum's relationship evolved, friends still viewed the union controversially.
Either way, they aimed to travel that summer and see the world as intended, while the likelihood of visiting Sabrina also held excitement. Though today, the girls preyed on the climate and toured an elaborate resort set along England's east coast: The Elmley Natural Nature Reserve.
"It's gorgeous." Tatum proclaimed, observing the North Sea.
Elated, Lyndsey snuggled.
"I'm glad you approve."
Typically, Lyndsey's a romantic, so such a sentimental environment seemed like a good idea. Along with this, love and fidelity were feelings the girls wanted to explore.
"I'll get us checked in." Lyndsey whispered, moving toward the cabana.
Almost entirely, the cottage was adorned in eighteenth century decor. A grand splendor which generally lured patrons to the Ferry House. Similarly, the stunning panoramic views of the North Sea and neighboring country of Scotland also elicited attention.
In which case, Tatum chose to explore the coastline, and relish the splendor of nature. But, even despite such an exquisite spectacle, she remained preoccupied. Unknowingly, Sabrina had offered personal insight into several coming and existing events, so Tatum no longer trusted anyone.
On the other hand, Sabrina was a visionary, and despite being skeptical about the reasoning, Tatum trusted the acuity. Beyond that, with such hardships looming, speaking with her best friend again became imperative. Finally, yet importantly, Lyndsey had become wise to the skepticism and aimed to keep Tatum distracted.
"Taking in the sights?" Lyndsey wondered, drawing near.
Instantly, she smiled, though noted something of grave interest. Upon Lyndsey's left index finger was a new crimson ruby. (A rare gemstone signifying a servile apologist). Seeing this, Tatum felt stunned by the validity of Sabrina's predictions.
Unquestionably, Karen's grievances were personal, and it was clear she'd influenced Lyndsey's judgment. That being the case, she was now susceptible to suggestion and incapable of resisting seduction. On this point, Tatum wanted to confront her, but instead chose to say nothing.
"Something like that." she replied.
"Our room is waiting." Lyndsey declared, pointing.
Agreeably, Tatum followed, but nonetheless remained captivated by the sight of Karen's offering. In the same breath, she repeatedly questioned why Lyndsey hadn't referred to the ring earlier - nor worn it. This in mind, such an innocent getaway now held another purpose, since Tatum's faith in Lyndsey again felt shaken.
