Saint Anthony's Cathedral, pastored by Sovereign Paul Steele, exemplified divinity, enchantment, and occultism. However, the institution had recently struggled to restore order and discredit mounting allegations.

Seventeen years prior, on a fateful night, Sovereign Harold Morgan, his wife Katherine, and their two children had vanished without a trace. In the wake of their disappearance, answers had become unattainable, so Paul began his own investigation. Yet, despite his relentless efforts, his inquiries only led to more questions.

During this time, his fidelity to the ministry grew stronger. But without regard for the Morgan legacy, he modified Harold's journals, determined to revise the genealogy records.

As a result, silent rebellions formed within the sect, and pupils began honing their skills in preparation for an inevitable coup. Paul soon learned of this coercion and aimed to silence the detractors.

Meanwhile, nightfall arrived as the remnants of a late-day storm subsided. However, when the sisters entered the chapel, a tinge of unease settled over them due to the unexpected summons. Even so, Paul appeared calm despite the consistent expressions of disdain around him.

Philosophies within Saint Anthony's were changing unpredictably, and with loyalties abandoned, all trust had been lost. Still, Paul's approach remained clear--he was determined to prevail. The church was shrouded in ambiguity, and efforts to eradicate potential threats had begun.

Until now, he had never scolded them or failed to offer a formal greeting, but tonight was different. It was unmistakable: the sovereign suspected deception. With this in mind, Paul was ready to address his concerns, despite Michelle's delayed arrival.

"Forgive me; I have no excuse," Michelle said as she entered.

Paul sneered. "Your excursions were no doubt exhausting," he announced. "Though I sense you have news."

Michelle joined Raina at the front of the chapel. "I do."

Everyone instantly grew captivated.

"Do tell," Paul stated, drawing closer.

The sisters watched as Michelle stepped forward, and despite Paul's apparent lack of enthusiasm, he also seemed intrigued.

"Sabrina's returned."

The coven gathered closer, even as Paul maintained his prolonged silence. Even still, he remembered Sabrina, though Julia had sheltered her away years ago. This news only confirmed his suspicions.

"When?" Raina demanded.

Michelle glared and organized a stack of photographs. "This morning," she answered. "At the university."

Everyone huddled together as Michelle displayed the photos. However, while smiles were expectedly abundant, Paul's reaction remained contradictory. Whatever the circumstances, the sisters were ecstatic, even in defiance of his obvious misgivings.

"Ensure that Sabrina attends," he instructed as Michelle's eyes met his.

Though they were obliged to comply, Julia's directives had been explicit. However, Paul was their mentor, and disobedience was prohibited. Given this conflict, trepidations mounted, and a need for neutrality felt warranted.

"I've already invited her to communion," Michelle replied carefully.

The sovereign nodded. "Then I look forward to our next sermon."
