Luis felt elated the entire day after visiting Sabrina's parents. Everyone had gotten along well, and a mutual adoration emerged along with their newfound camaraderie. However, when he returned to the suite, he was surprised to find everyone's bags packed and waiting.
"You're back," Jim declared as Caroline stared.
Luis grinned despite his surprise. "What's going on?"
His father glared. "We're leaving today. Did you forget?"
His mother smirked. "I've seen that look a thousand times," she murmured. "What's on your mind?"
Luis sulked. "I'm staying with Sabrina," he insisted. "At least for now."
Caroline noticed Jim's broad smile since he had also anticipated Luis's decision. Observing this, his mother suddenly drew out an envelope and handed it to her son.
"We figured as much."
Luis was stunned by the gesture, but his parents adored Sabrina and knew he did too.
"Promise you'll call," his mother requested.
He hugged his parents. "I promise, and I can't thank you enough."
Jim placed a hand on his shoulder. "Above all else, be careful."
Luis looked down at the return ticket inside the envelope. "Sabrina will be thrilled."
Caroline gathered her belongings, but as everyone savored the moment, Luis's phone buzzed. He initially thought it was Sabrina, but after reading the message, his attitude changed.
"Who is it?" Jim asked.
Luis looked up. "Jessica Solomon."
