Luis's optimism dwindled over recent days as the reality of losing Sabrina loomed. So much so, that he'd considered anything that'd prolong a stay in America. On another note, while he gazed into the mirror, Luis recalled Sabrina's dislike for straight-laced styles.

So, settling on dark slacks, a white button-collar shirt and a shaded sports coat Luis dressed casually. He exuded confidence on the surface, yet as he entered the suite Jim noted the hidden apprehensions.

"Nervous?"

Luis smirked.

"I hope she remembers."

Immediately after the phone rang.

"See she didn't forget." Caroline jested.

Luis sneered and answered.

"Waiting long?" Sabrina mocked.

Jim and Caroline observed their sons' pleasant glow, but despite appearing content Luis also looked worried.

"Something like that." he replied.

"I'm sorry, I was helping my mother."

"Noted..." he answered. "Did you get some rest?"

"A little."

"Then the service went well?"

Sabrina hesitated.

"Everything went fine."

Luis settled into a nearby chair.

"I'm glad..." he retorted. "I've made reservations for the Bistro Royale; I hope that's adequate?"

Sabrina sheltered amid Julia's consistent gazes.

"That sounds great, what time?"

"8 pm."

"I'll be ready."

Following, she joined her mother in the kitchen.

"Was that Luis?"

"Yeah..." she confessed, smiling. "However, I guess you suspected as much."

"It isn't a big secret."

Sabrina turned away and viewed the morning paper.

"Something wrong?"

Julia didn't relish surprises, but Luis had visited and she needed to know.

"Luis was here." she admitted.

Her mother stepped back.

"What do you mean?"

She again hesitated.

"The other morning, I turned and there he was."

Julia glared.

"How serious is it between you?"

Sabrina approached.

"He's taking me to dinner, so we'll see."

Julia appreciated the truth, but there was something else she demanded to know.

"Do you love him?"

Sabrina gazed and shrugged.

"I'm not rushing into anything..." she replied. "But, I know I do."
