It wasn't surprising that Karen's coven had occupied the villa and normally the girls wouldn't have been there, yet due to Alex's pleas they'd followed. Thanks to this, tense emotions arose as Lyndsey and Tatum pondered repercussions.

"What's happened to him?" she questioned.

Tatum scowled.

"Better yet, what's happened to you?"

Lyndsey retreated to the sofa.

"I don't know..." she answered. "I haven't felt normal in months."

Tatum moved into the kitchen.

"Sabrina knew this would happen."

Lyndsey paused.

"Karen was right, she's a witch."

She worked through her hair.

"Now you know."

Tatum didn't embellish considering everything since Karen had alienated everyone and caused considerable distress. In light of this, she messaged Alex while preparing for a return trip to America. Concurrently, he'd found recourse atop a murky grade facing the resort and though he should've his curiosity wouldn't allow him to leave.

"Where are you?" Tatum demanded.

"Outside the villa." he responded.

"What are you still doing there?"

"Waiting..." he confirmed. "Though don't worry, everything's fine."

She groaned.

"That doesn't sound convincing."

A long pause ensued: a definitive sign something obscure was happening. Yet, he held a firm gaze on the resort and stayed calm.

"Is that it?" she wondered.

"No..." he claimed. "The covens here together."

Tatum pleaded for him to leave again and again, but Alex had refused, blinded by an obsession that caused more harm than good. But, Karen was again captivating his heart even despite a lack of understanding.

Nevertheless, it neared 8 am and though he fancied staying it wasn't easy. Then again, Karen would suddenly appear and despite being a once charitable and loving soul she now looked dark and sadistic. Hence, she smiled at him before leaving knowing he'd follow.
