Trina Saint Claire and Jasmine Lloyd led the battle against occultism on campus. And despite ongoing threats, continued attending communal events. Because of this, unfamiliar areas around the common became focal points for gatherings. So, the two friends began navigating campus via an uncharted route along the ravine.

Security updates blocked various pathways, so they sought alternatives. Only to discover that these routes appeared restricted. Desperate for options, they took a new and unconventional path through the woods. As they moved along the gorge, a shadowy figure lurking among the trees caught attention.

Trina immediately grabbed Jasmine's hand, and together they hurried toward the lakefront. In their haste, each missed a crucial step and plunged headlong down a steep grassy slope. When Trina awoke, she saw Jasmine lying unconscious and rushed to her side. Moments later, a presence surrounded them, and everything fell silent.

Winds flowed, temperatures fell, symbolic of the inner rage escalating within. The movement was far too powerful for humanity to comprehend. Thus, silencing non-believers took priority. Though Trina and Jasmine wouldn't be the last. For they also had a faithful following dedicated to the cause.

All the same, they didn't want to harm anyone. Instead, as the coven wars progressed, the amnesty of the species needed validation. On another note, various personal relationships existed. Ergo, each encounter was methodical and the methods specific. Elders and Grand Elders followed the prophecy to the letter.

Regardless of the consequences to their respective sects. For the penalties for disobedience were graphic, final and explicit. Though with so much at stake, even the smallest detail mattered. So, Trina, Jasmine, and anyone else opposing the movement stood exiled. Not a permanent solution by any means, but a recourse nonetheless.

Darkened eyes blanked the hillside as the girls' limp bodies twitched. Desperate to awaken, yet powerless to do so. All the while, their minds painted gruesome pictures of an unavoidable fate. An expected reaction based on the situation. Plus, removing the girls from society wouldn't be enough of a remedy.

Trina and Jasmine would awaken again at some point. Moreover, the threat of them returning and resuming the cause required preventative measures. Thus, as the girls passed, preparations began. Small, undetectable incisions within specific areas of the body. Followed by various spells designed to taint the blood. However, such methods weren't used to kill, but to control.

Humanity proved to be a valuable asset in the grand scheme of things. But such camaraderie existed under false pretenses. Meaning, people lived under the illusion that the supernatural belonged. Though if the truth became known, the consequences would be dire. Thus, Katherine Morgan's decision to exile Sabrina and Samantha prevented nothing. And regardless of the elders' plans, a war with humanity seemed inevitable.

In a way, the supernatural feared such a conflict. Because despite superior abilities, numbers were against them. A few dozen versus an army of billions was unimaginable. So, the reality of extinction was fathomable on many fronts. Thus, methods such as these helped gain an advantage, no matter how subtle. In the end, the supernatural wanted and worked for peace. But if humanity's history showed anything, they stood predictable.
