As the demon in question glared at Rengoku with a maniacal smile, he held on to the boy so tight. The boy was frightened as Rengoku remained calm yet guarded. This demon wasn't one of the twelve Kizukis, but this might be strong by its own level.

"Why should I do that, when this morsel is just enough for me to eat him?"
"He is not a morsel, but a human being with a soul. You will release him and leave this place at once."
"Like I will do no such thing!"

Squishing him tight, the blood started to fall from the ground, making him crave his taste. However, just as he was about to take a bite, another being jumped through the windows and in the room, looking at him in anger inside the mask.

"Unos?" Rengoku asked in surprise, "What brings you out here??"

They don't mention a word as they remove the sword from their grasp, holding a Nichirin sword in their grasp. The colors that was grown in that sword was a lot different than any other Rengoku has seen before. It had green electricity shimmering all over the black nichirin sword. However, it wasn't similar to thunder breathing sword. Instead of being bold and proud, it was rather, edgy and small. As if it was absorbing the power on the sides.

"A Nichirin? How did they-"

Unos remained still as they stared at the demon in question.

'Eh? Another Demon Slayer?!' the demon thought in shock. 'No... its scent is demon.'
"Hey! You're one of us, aren't you? Yes... you're-"

Before revealing Unos' identity, he rushed towards them, preparing to strike the person and the demon in question.

"Wait! Don't harm the human!" Rengoku warned Unos, thinking that the human would be damaged in the progress. "They're innocent in all of this!"

As he stopped right at his track, the demon, who held the human in question, pulled the boy closer and fled fast. Rengoku, noticing how fast he was going, was trying his best to find where he was going. Just as he was close to stabbing Rengoku in the back, Unos used his sword to stab his arm, which gives Rengoku the opportunity to strike the demon down, releasing the boy in his grasp.

"You'll pay for that, you brat!" he growled.

I glared at him as I held the sword

In fear, the demon began to escape outside towards the next train station.

Unos was angry that he wanted to run after him but noticed the boy who was still scared and began to faint. As he fell on to the floor, Unos caught him from hitting the ground floor as fast as he could. Fearing the demon will hurt him, the boy shivered in fear. Returning the sword back in its place, he touched his hair, gentle like a lamb, making him completely surprised. Unos, returning his gaze at Rengoku, pointed with his eyes towards the direction of the demon's direction.

"That demon won't stop until he kills his next kill." Unos spoke for the first time, "Hurry up and catch up to him!"

Hearing the familiar voice, Rengoku stared in surprise at first. He knew who it was, but at the moment, defeating the demon who is running towards the next train stop is important. Nodding in agreement, Rengoku ran to get help, allowing his crow to get the clean-up crew to help the boy in question. Meanwhile, Unos, while removing their mask, examined the damages that he received.

"You haven't been given any demon blood, so at least that's a good thing. Here: drink this."

Handing him water in a jug, he drank lightly, unsure what was going on or what it could be. For a demon, he was a lot different than the other one.

"Who... who are you?" the boy asked me as Unos prepared to move.

He only glared at them and said not a word. At that moment, the demon slayer cleanup crew were drawing near and noticed this interaction. Without being spotted, Unos fled and left to the workstation rooftop. Looking at the direction of where the demon is running towards, he closed his eyes for a moment.

"Blood Demon Art: Portal Dimension!"

Using this technique, hoping that it wasn't too late to defeat the demon before they harm another, it allowed him to travel between different locations with ease. Right as soon as he reached the train station, Unos, who was also known as YN, saw Rengoku ending the demon with his blood demon art. With a sigh of relief, YN thanked the gods as the flame Hashira finished talking to the woman and child in question. It seems like YN thought that fate was wrong and Rengoku was safe. Seeing the sun beginning to rise from the east, YN began to walk back into the shadows with the mask on and return back to Shinobu's home. However, Akatsuki spoke to Rengoku in regards of the Mugen case as YN was leaving the location.

"Does that mean that the Mugen case is closed?"
"No it is not, Akatsuki."

I stopped midway and turned around.
How could this be?
The mission isn't over?
I walked towards them slowly, trying not to get sun burnt and to hear the rest of the conversation.

"Wait a second. That demon wasn't the same demon killing the humans in the Mugen train?"
"No... there's another demon."
"Another one? But... then what about the demon you killed? Wasn't he the train killer?"
"No. That demon was for a different cause irrelevant to the case, but I know there's a dangerous demon. And I sensed it... in that train when I was in the train shed. The Mugen train is going to be back on tracks... and I'm going to get in."

Fearing for the worst, I backed up a bit.
The worst was yet to come.
I recalled what was prophesized earlier, which made me frightened.

'"He will die in the Mugen Train... whether your hands or another..."

Fearing for the events yet to come, I ran deep into the darkness, dropping my mask in the progress. Rengoku, hearing the drop went towards the sound, but saw no one. He only noticed the mask that was dropped and picked it up.

"YN..." he called softly to himself as he gripped the mask tightly
"Is something the matter, Rengoku?" Akatsuki asked curiously
"Not at all." he replied, placing the mask in his haori, "Report back to the Master. I'll be going to the Mugen Train."
